My father and stepmother thought it would be a good idea for me to go to a private school to learn how to behave. At least that's what they told me. It's more along the lines of I can't handle you, I don't want you, and I don't need you so go away.

It's not like I'm a bad child. I mean every teen vandalizes water towers, leaves for a few days, and steals right? I may not be the greatest teenager in the world, but I'm not the worst. In my step mother's eyes I am. A couple of words and kisses to my father and I'm shipped off to Hawthorne Academy school for troubled teens.

The plane shook with turbulence knocking my third bag of peanuts out of my hands. Oppsy daisy, oh well the stewardess can clean that up, after all that's what their paid for.

"Excuse me, but did you just drop those peanuts?" a stewardess asked me with a fake ass smile.

"Uh…no" I say putting head phones into my ears. I'm pissed a private school does sound nice, after all it makes people feel like princess, but not if your leaving behind your best friend behind.

Ryan is the best guy friend everyone secretly wishes they could have. We did everything together movies, parties, vacations, and the occasional shop lifting. Saying goodbye was the hardest thing I ever did.

*flash back*

We were swinging back and forth at the abandon play ground the wind blew are hair around are faces. A rusty seesaw moved up and down with an unknown force.

"Ryan I'm leaving this weekend." I say staring at the ground. He was silent not making a move or a sound he was always like that never moved without a purpose. I looked up at his face it held no emotion.

"Are you going to say something I'm about to cry?" I say standing up and walking toward the stone bench.

"Where are you going?" Ryan asked moving to sit next to me.

"Some private school in England my damned step mother says it will teach me how to behave, and my father said it was a good idea. Can you believe it?" I ask setting my head on his shoulder.

"Who's going to skip school with me, and watch movies on Friday nights?" Ryan asked with remorse and anger in his voice.

"Please don't be angry at me! I don't want to! I want to stay here with you, and the group!" I say.

"I'm not angry at you Dawny .Well why you're here let's make the best of it! Come on lets go to Nicks bar." Ryan said grabbing my hand and taking off across the playground.

*end flash back*

With my iPod playing I drifted off to sleep. England here I come.

"There's a playground that we use to run on

The penny drop that broke my arm

The monkey bars that you fell from

The sing set chain that slipped with me tongue

It's thirty below and we're far gone.

There's a roof top deck where we still hang out

A couple of bars where were not allowed

The roller skates that threw you on your face

The park on the hill which was are only space

The fog is back and it rolls right in

About the time I struck my first fifth of gin

I really don't mean to complain too much

But this is turning me into quite the lush"
