Chidori
A Sonnet

A/N: Here is the second of the two sonnets I wrote. This one is considerably more surreal than its sister, but in my mind this poem seems to inexplicably fit the image of the chidori. I dunno, maybe I'm nuts.
A thousand birds,
This fearsome sight's
Too much for words:
A source of fright.
.
Lightning arc,
The voice of Law
Condemns you -Hark!-
To thrash in awe.
.
The heavens part –
Lo, and behold!
The hero's heart
Doth now grow cold.
.
Dark consumes the soul,
Waxing black as coal.
