Hello, everypony! This is it, folks! Night 1 of Golden Playhouse mode and before I start, I have to give out the disclaimer before Atlus and Hasbro gets ahold of my damn neck.
Disclaimer: Story and elements of Catherine belong to Atlus and the characters and setting of My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic belongs to Hasbro. Now let's get the hell on.
The intro to the Golden Playhouse started and it transitioned to a room with a flat-screen TV and a modest look of a bedroom with Celestia popping in seductively greeting the viewers (players of Catherine). She had a regal cobalt and pink hair with curves and boobs that rivaled Beyonce's. the woman had some lingerie on as she sat on her bed in a sexy pose with her legs crossed.
Celestia: Hello, faithful viewers. Welcome to the Equestria Playhouse with your host, Celestia. My sis, Luna is busy in the bathroom. She'll be back in a moment. (giggling)
Luna (annoyed yell): Tia, shut up! No one needs to know about that! Can't a girl use the bathroom in peace? Damn!
Celestia laughed at her sister's misfortunes and continued on.
Celestia: Anyway, have you ever dreamed about getting killed and never woke up? Well in this tale, it's true for our main hero and other men suffering the same fate to survive or die tryin'. Our hero goes by the name Spike Drake who is an earnest and kind man. He goes on a rollercoaster ride figuring out what he must do as he fights through the week of nightmares. Join him on his quest to solve the madness and be sure to grab a snack and a bottle of beer.
Celestia walks over to the television mounted on the wall as she gets ready to start the story.
Celestia: Are you all ready to go? Good. I'll see you at the end of the show and stay golden.
Luna: Start the damn show already, hell!
Luna barked feeling cranky as she plopped onto the chair with Celestia blowing kisses at the screen with the camera zooming into the TV screen starting the show.
======At the Sugarcube Corner in the afternoon=====
Our story begins with a green spiky haired man with a dragon emblem on his white shirt with jeans and Nike sneakers. He sat at an outdoor table dazing into space with a voice telling him something. "Hey! Where'd you go? Snap out of it!", the voice yelled the last part as the green haired man Spike got out of his daze. Across from him is a purple haired woman with pink streaks wearing a librarian outfit with the rectangular glasses (same as Katherine's(. she is Twilight Sparkle, the lover and best friend to Spike Drake who've been down since day one. They've been in a relationship for a few years being more than friends. They grew up from childhood to the present along with the others. Today is the day that Twilight wanted to talk about something important to Spike. The librarian broke the awkward silence after Spike got out of his stupor as she had a concerned look on her face. "Were you listening to me? You've been spacing out. is everything okay?", she asked. Spike nodded his head after taking a sip of coffee from his cup. "Yeah, Twi. I was working real early at the software firm this morning.", he said as he hid his real reasons. Twilight just sighed at her boyfriend as she took a bite of her chocolate cake. The couple sat at the table passing the time as the sun began to set. The librarian wanted to tie the knot with Spike after dating for 5 years. She saw couples walking by with babies in strollers laughing and enjoying the married life. Another couple celebrated their anniversary the way it looks like with the guy giving his wife an anniversary ring. Twilight really wanted to make her marriage to Spike a reality but the latter was fine with the way it is now. he didn't want to tie the knot right now for a relationship is just what he sees fit as best. After awhile, the couple decided to go home to turn in for the night. They went to Twilight's black Lexus and the pair waved goodbye to the Cakes as they drove away.
======At the apartment======
Spike lived in an apartment that isn't the ritz but it was decent enough to live in. his bedroom had posters of space shuttles and rockets. He had a television with cable provided by the landlord. His bed had green sheets and comforters with nightstands and other stuff. The green haired man sighed as he plopped on the bed thinking about the day of Twilight wanting to settle down. the thought of it troubled him deep down as he couldn't imagine enjoying married life like his lover wanted. Twilight and Spike's close friends, Combo Breaker and Apple Jack got married couple years ago. Sure Spike and Twilight were happy for them and also Fluttershy and Discord tied the knot along with Fancy Pants and Rarity. Spike reminisced about their friends entering matrimony but he was tortured at the thought of speaking the truth to Twilight. He gazed at the ceiling with a worried expression with a mixture of anxiety and frustration. "How the hell am I going too tell her the truth? Sure we dated for a few years but that's the point. We're fine just the way we are. I don't care about marriage like Twi or our friends. Who the hell am I kidding? She'll get mad if I tell her.", he sighed as he took his pants and shirt off revealing his boxers with flame designs with the word, "Dragon" on the trim. He got under the covers after plugging his cell phone to the outlet near his nightstand. After a couple minutes, he drifted off to sleep.
=======Somewhere unknown=========
A rumbling sound startled Spike as he opened his eyes in fright and was shocked at the fact that he wasn't in his room anymore. Instead, he stood on blocks with layers stacked very high and below him were layers of bricks crumbling into the dark oblivion. The place was a graveyard with tombstones and dead bodies and blood everywhere. It was gruesome to put a word on it. "Where the hell am i? and what is this place? Whoa!", the green haired man said as one of the layers disappeared rapidly. As the next under the next layer began to go down getting closer to where Spike is, a voice called from above. "Hey, you there! Hurry up and climb! If you don't, you'll die for real!", the voice warned him as Spike narrowed his eyes in disbelief as he glared up at the direction it was coming from. "Die?! Are you fucking kidding me right now? you must be joking and it's not funny!", he said but yelped as the layer underneath his layer dropped to the oblivion. "Shit! I better get the hell on up there!", he said in urgency as he pulled a block out as it locked in place. He then tried creating stairs with a skeptical look. He climbed the makeshift stairs just in time as the layer below fell to it's doom. After he climbed for a good while, the voice called unto him impressed with Spike's climbing. "I see that you're getting the hang of this.", the voice said as Spike rolled his eyes at the remark. The voice then added some needed pointers to the confused Spike with ram horns on his head. "Be careful not to get careless to the point of getting yourself in a dangerous situation. Don't just pull out blocks at random. Look around and plan carefully.", the unknown voice said as Spike did as he was told.
Spike made sure he pull the best block to use to set up for stairs. He pulled one out and he hopped on top of it to pull another out in which he held onto the edge of the block shimmying back onto the layers. He climbed two steps created leading to an available step to climb on. as he did so and climbed the default path of steps, a bell rang in which Spike had a feeling that the exit was near. "That might be the way out of this dark place but I'm not sure though.", he wondered to himself as the voice told the greenette what to do next. "The ringing from that glowing bell up there means that the exit is near. Go to the bell and pull it to unlock the door to escape! Hurry!", the voice warned as Spike asked him something. "Is there anything else you can show me?", he asked. "If we're lucky to make it through the night, we'll meet again.", it said as Spike had no other choice but to keep going. The sound grew louder with every set climbed getting closer and closer. Once at the top, the greenette shoved the block to the high platform with the bell to pull. "This better be it but here goes nothing.", he said as he pulled the rope ringing the bell as it unlocks the door towards escape from the nightmare for the time being. As he approached the door, an eerie voice called unto Spike as he turned around to see who it was. "You won't escape!", it said as it came to a startled Spike ready to do him in. "Oh, shit! Stay away from me!", he panicked as the unknown entity caught up to him as it screamed in anger. Luckily, Spike opened the door revealing a blinding light causing the deadly entity to retreat into the abyss as the greenette hurriedly entered the doorway as the door closed shut and everything transitioned out of the graveyard. "Way to go, lost lamb. You've just escaped the Underground Cemetery, a place where evildoers are put to rest.", the unknown but different voice said as the first night ended with Spike making it out alive but unfortunately, there are many nightmares to come. Why is Spike thrown into this dark and gruesome fate? However, he is not alone for in the next chapter and many more ahead, many other guys are with him in this battle.
AN: And that's the first night in the story with the Underground Cemetery in which it is the first world in the game. I think that Celestia made a good Midnight Venus, Trisha from the game that introduces you to the modes Story, Versus and Babel. Luna is used a cameo but traces of Celestia will be in the form of cell texts Spike sees as spam just like Vincent receives at the Stray Sheep. I kinda like the shipping of Twilight Sparkle and Spike in this story. Twilight is just like Katherine in a way with being hard working, mature, intelligent and knows what's best for their male counterparts. I'll debut the other characters in Night 2 so stay tuned.
