Disclaimer: Oh, yeah, course I own Greek Mythology... totally...

Note: Note the sarcasm above, PLEASE.

"Posiedon!" Athena snapped. Her black hair that usually fell elegantly over her shoulder was flying behind her as she paced angrily.

A man with the same dark hair, but with green eyes as moody as the sea that were contrasted with the piercing grey eyes of the goddess of wisdom, appeared.

"Yes, Athena?" he asked, calmly.

"The earthquake. What was that about?" she hissed.

"Which earthquake, Athena? You will have to be more specific..." Posiedon said, coolly, but an obvious glint in his eyes.

The woman glared at him, her eyes showing that she wanted to kill him slowly and painfully, and, ironically for the goddess of wisdom, struggled to find... civilised words.

"The earthquake that just happened a few minutes ago," Athena stated, as a wave of calm washed over her, but still not lightening the blanket of anger shrouding her mind, "The one that destroyed my temple."

"Technically, it did not destroy your temple, it has just severely - "

" - been damaged beyond repair!" Athena screeched, forgetting about her illusion of calm, "It was my temple and the greatest of all and you - you dared to destroy it!"

"It is simply a temple, niece," Posiedon exhaled, "You have other temples - "

"It was the most beautiful of them all," she declared, "And it deserves respect! Is this for me managing to win the Athenians over with my olive tree? Is this a form of revenge, Posiedon?!"

He studied her with mild annoyance.

"Currently, even your brother Ares is wiser than you. It may have been your favourite but - "

"Posiedon? Athena?" Apollo asked, as soon as he had appeared, "What is wrong? Is there anything - "

Athena turned on him.

"And you!" she growled, obviously simply looking for somebody to blame. The ferocity on her face made Apollo want to back away, but he stood his ground, not ready to show his sister (who wasn't his twin) that he was afraid of her.

"Yes?" he said, politely.

"You knew that my temple would be destroyed," she accused, "And you didn't - "

"Technically, it isn't destroyed..." Apollo started, but faltered at the look on her face. Posiedon looked like he was close to wearing a smirk, but put on a smug expression instead.

"Just as I was saying Athena," he said, "It can be repaired. You are a goddess, are you not?"

"And what would the mortals think?" Athena grumbled, "I cannot repair my beautiful temple... I will have to let it remain the way it is..."

The way her eyes narrowed at Posiedon, told him he would never, never in his immortal life be forgiven for destroying her beloved temple.

"And, Athena, I think Father was looking for you," Apollo said.

The goddess of wisdom stalked out, still looking severely angry.

Apollo laughed, softly.

"Ah, Uncle, perhaps that wasn't the most wise of ideas," he said.

Posiedon raised an eyebrow towards his nephew.

"Are you accusing me of purposely causing the earthquake?" he questioned, his tone chilly, though it was obvious he didn't mean it by the way his green eyes twinkled.

"Of course not Uncle... of course not..."

I was bored... so I wrote this in... 10 minutes. May continue a drabble on things about the Parthenon... or just Greek Gods small arguments in general. Maybe. Maybe not.
