I was sitting in a small dark room, just staring into the darkness. I was long used to the darkness even at such a young age.

Suddenly the darkness was split, and giant silhouette beckoned me forward.

I felt trust for this mystery being. Getting up, I followed it into the light.

BANG!

I shot to my feet. Looking around I saw pure white walls on all sides, and a man with red hair and a lab coat standing in the doorway.

Smiling at me he came over to me and crouched to be able to look me in the eyes.

"Hello young man" he said to me with a smile. A smile I didn't trust.

I didn't know why, but something about this man scared me greatly.

"Do you remember how you got here?" he asked gently.

I thought about it for a second before answering. "I was on a ship, and… I don't remember what happened after that." I couldn't remember, why couldn't I remember? It had just happened hadn't it? My eyes welled up with tears.

The man put his hand on my shoulder, smile never wavering. "Don't worry too hard about it my boy, that's behind you now anyways."

"Wh-what do you mean?" I asked, voice trembling.

His smile got a bit wider as he stood up to his full height.

"This is your new home now" he said in an sickly sweet voice.

Taking his hand off my shoulder, he suddenly pulled one of my lightsabers out of his coat pocket.

My lightsaber. I remembered what that was!

He looked over the hilt and suddenly ignited it.

He examined the blade silently before speaking again.

"This is remarkable" he said while swinging the blade around. "You don't even feel the blade, it's like it's made of pure light."

He suddenly took a swing at the ground, scaring me and causing a glowing cut in the ground.

"It can cut through almost anything we've tried, only adamantium seems to be able to stop it." His smile suddenly changed

"None of us can figure out how it works yet" he took a moment to switch the blade into his other hand "But when we do, it will be very useful, like you my boy."

He extinguished the blade.

"You're an even bigger enigma." he said before pointing at me with that same smile. "You sent sent one of my men twenty feet in the air"

I suddenly remembered. They had surrounded me when I woke up. They had guns and they frightened me, it had been pure instinct.

"I-I'm sorry about that." I squeaked out. I truly hadn't meant it. They had just scared me.

He continued as if I didn't say anything. "But yet despite that clearly being telekinesis, you're not a mutant."

Putting his hands on both of my shoulders he stared me directly in the eyes.

"You're not fully human either, and the abilities you have will help us greatly my boy."

Something about that didn't sound good to me. I had to say something, so I mustered my last bit of courage to speak out.

"I'm not sure I want that sir" His look didn't change. Another thought suddenly came into my head.

"I don't even know where I am."

"Son don't worry about that." He said while taking his hands off of my shoulders.

Suddenly he slapped me hard. The force of it sent me crashing to the floor. I felt blood trickling from my nose.

Looking up I noticed he had left the room and closed the door behind him.

The lights in the room suddenly got brighter, and a high pitch noise broke out.

My head started to hurt, and the noise grew louder and louder.

I screamed before it all went dark.
