I sipped my tea and watched my friend Alex Day's videos over and over again. He was over at Carrie's place, probably kissing her. He went over to tell her how he felt, and no doubt she felt the same. I shuddered at the thought. I knew that if she had said no, he would've been home by now, so I didn't expect him home for another hour.
I took screenshots of him in his videos, smiling, or just plain looking cute. I had tons of those, because, well, he was ALWAYS looking cute. I started watching his Lady Godiva release video, when he had his shirt off, and took lots of shots of this abs. I started daydreaming, of him coming home, and saying Carrie had rejected him. I could almost hear him come upstairs and open my door.
"Um, Charlie, is that me?" His voice came from behind me. That was NOT my imagination. I didn't reply. Normally, I would've laughed it off, come up with some stupid excuse, but this time, I didn't even click away. I felt tears sting my eyes.
"Yeah..." I managed to say. "It's you." I wracked my brain, wondering what the hell to do.
"But, why, Charlie, are you staring at me shirtless?" He turned my chair around to face him, and as soon as he did, I made up my mind. I stood up, and just kissed him. He resisted, but I kept going. All I had ever wanted since I met him was this, and nothing would stop me. Soon enough, Alex gave in. He put his arms around my waist and pulled me in closer. Suddenly, he stopped, and separated. He headed for the door.
"Where are you going?" I sat on my bed. "Did I... scare you off?"
"No, Charlieberg. I'm going to Carrie's place." His expression was stern, and kind of nervous.
"Why?" To snog on her, too? I thought.
"To break up with her, love." Alex kissed me on the cheek lightly. "Don't go anywhere, that was amazing."
