Running, the mother ran through the woods as a Houdoom belonging to a trainer gave chase as she legs bleed. The canine dug its teeth into her gown, making her trip and dropping the little human she held in the blanket. The baby cried upon hitting the dirt, the woman kicked the dog Pokémon to flee with her child once more. The mother looked at the nearby bush that was shaking with something growling behind them.
The mother looked as she saw herself, the Houdoom looked confused before biting her chest, tearing through as it ripped her heart. Once that was done, it walked over to the copycat, only to discover its throat held by the claws of a Zoroak. The Illusion Pokémon crushed the canines' windpipe, thus killing it.
From the bustling of the bushes came a Gardevoir as she walked over to the child's mother, reading her last thoughts. 'Someone. Don't let my Peter die. Please!' The Gardevoir closed the mothers' eyes and picked up the crying baby, gently soothing him.
"It's all right now small one, I will take care of you, as will the rest of your family. Right, Zera?" She asked the Zoroak, who was licking blood from her claws as she nodded her head. The two made their way to their caves, only stopping by a rock to say goodnight to it because underneath rested their trainer.
Upon reaching her cave, she heard the cry of her daughter, a Ralts, asking for any berries she brought back. "Sarah, keep your voice down please, I don't want you to wake up your brother." The Gardevoir asked as the child tilted her head in confusion.
The Pokémon knelt for her child to see the baby wrapped in a soft, light green blanket. The small Pokémon looked at the weird thing that was her brother. "Is he a human mama?" The little one asked.
"Yes sweetheart, your brother is a human. Peter here is just like your father. May Arceus rest his soul." The mother said as she wept a tear, both remembering the good and the bad.
