Hello people, this is my second fanfic of the couple Taichi and Yamato. However, this story is completely different to the first one I wrote.

If I don't finish chapter 2 by today, then unfortunately you might have to wait a week before I upload it-I don't have any spare time on school days to write because I get so much homework :/

"Taichi," Mrs Yagami said. "You know this was going to happen. We're moving."

Meanwhile, in a different city, the same thing was being said to Yamato.

...

Taichi stared up at his new house. It was surprisingly different. But one thing he did have to admit-he had never seen a house this big.

"Onii-chan," Hikari, his little sister said, tugging on to his sleeve. "Why is it we have to move again?"

Taichi let out a sigh. "Hikari, it's like I said. Mother doesn't love father anymore, and she has found another man she loves."

"But mummy and daddy were meant to be for each other," Hikari said. "They said it themselves."

"Hikari," Taichi said. "You will understand this one day..."

"But I want to understand now!" Hikari exclaimed. Her next words were interrupted by mother calling them both to her.

"I want you to meet Yamato and Takeru," she said, showing them two boys. Taichi looked at the oldest boy. He had blonde hair and was quite tall-on first glance he probably had lots of fan girls. But looking at his body language, he was not the type of boy any one would have liked to talk to. He had turned his side to Taichi, and refused to see eye-to-eye with him.

"These two will be your brothers from now on." she said, smiling to all four of them. Yamato pretended he never saw.

"Hi," Takeru said, edging towards Hikari "Daddy says your Hikari."

"Obviously," replied Hikari.

"Let's play" said Takeru.

"Sure," said Hikari.

The two children ran off. Moment's later laughter could be heard.

"So..." Taichi said to Yamato.

Yamato pretended he had never heard anything.

"Umm...I'm Taichi," he said, edging towards Yamato.

"Obviously," Yamato said bluntly. "Do you think I'm stupid? How many times do you think I've heard father going: Oh and Taichi is a really nice boy you two will get along very well, and other stuff like that?"

"You're not the only person who's heard stuff like that!" Taichi said, trying his best not to shout. It was the first time they had met, and Taichi always like to put on a good first impression. He could tell Yamato was never bothered about impressions though. "Mother's always going: And did you know Yamato has his own band, and he can play the guitar and the harmonica and Yamato does this and Yamato does that and Takeru plays basketball and Takeru does that!"

"Whatever," Yamato said calmly, giving off a shrug. "Just remember one thing."

He walked a few steps towards the house, before turning around to face Taichi, this time seeing eye-to-eye with him.

"My father," he said. "Will never, become your father."

Taichi was about to say the same thing back at him, but with mother instead of father. Yamato however, just walked on into their new house, totally ignoring him once again.
