I smiled at Yuki as he tried to make the dinner. He didn't see me. He couldn't see me. I wasn't there really.
His eyes found the framed photo on the wall. Yuki eyes glistened slightly. It made him sad to see the photo. I touched his shoulder lightly."Don't be sad..." I said. He couldn't hear me.
Shigure, Yuki and Kyo sat round the table. They all looked so sad. Yuki kept on glancing at the empty seat across from him. I think Shigure noticed.
"You still miss her." He said sadly. Yuki didn't say anything. He never said anything.
"You know, you'll have to move on. She wouldn't want you to be sad."
Of course I didn't want him to be sad. I just wanted Yuki to smile again.
"Yeah. Its been 6 months now! Okay, I get that you miss her but do you know what? So do I! You have to get over it!" Kyo agreed. Yuki didn't respond. He never responded. Shigure sighed."Just leave him be." He told Kyo." There's nothing we can do."
Yuki stared at the ceiling. Like he did everyday. He just lay there on his bed staring into space. I knew I had to go soon. I had to leave eventually. But I didn't want Yuki to live like this. I knelt down and pressed my lips against his. Yuki sat up with a jolt."Tohru..." He whispered. I smiled. For the first time in months he'd spoke. Yuki stared at me in shock."Your alive!" He exclaimed. I shook my head."But...How...How are you here?" He murmered.
"I never left...You just couldn't see me..." I said lightly."I have to leave. I wanted to say goodbye."
I could feel myself fading. It was time.
"NO! Please! Don't go!" Yuki cried. I smiled and I waved goodbye. It made me sad to leave but I'm glad I got to say goodbye. As I felt myself leaving this world, I whispered four words.
"Please be happy, Yuki."
