The Ghosts of the Taklimakan

In the great desert of the Taklimakan, along the silk road, the ghosts haunted the desert. Most of the ghosts were gentile but there were some evil spirits. The good spirits did battle with the evil ones in the desert. This battle went on for centuries. When someone died in the Taklimakan would join the ranks of the good or evil, depending on how they lived.

Wolfbain was a righteous man in life who died in the desert. By day, Wolfbain and his fellow ghosts danced around and by night they defended the desert from the spirits from hell. The spirits from hell were named: Madness, War, Death, Pain, Torture, Lies and Disease. These spirits would come at night and harm the people in the Taklimakan. It was the responsibility of Wolfbain, and his fellow good spirits to prevent them from hurting the people. Wolfbain was not the only one in this battle. There were: Light, Peace, Love, Happiness and Health, among others who were involved.

One night the evil spirits came and possessed a princess. Learning this, Wolfbain and his fellow spirits set out to fight the evil spirits. He took control of the princess' body and drove the demons out of the body. After the princess was safe, a large battle ensued. In the morning, the righteous spirits emerged the victor and the demons were cast into hell for eternity. The princess being grateful, paid her respects for the dead. For they saved her life.
