Eva's MP3 Player
A Total Drama Oneshot
"Hello and welcome to Total Drama Reloaded! This season we have 13 new competitors competing with 9 old to..."
As DJ began to tune out Chris like everyone else did 5 minutes ago he looked down and noticed Eva's mp3 player on the ground. She had been standing beside him earlier, now she was to his far left, talking to Noah and Izzy who, to his knowledge, were now going out.
She will probably want this...
As DJ bent over to pick it up, he heard a very angry voice yelling his name.
"Hey, buttwipe, what are you doing touching my mp3 player? No one touches my mp3 player, unless they want to die!"
DJ shrunk despite himself. Ignoring the ringing in his ears and the spit on his face, he spoke. "I was going to give it back to you. You dropped it."
"I don't care what you-wait what?"
A few moments passed by, Eva's eyes staring into his.
"I saw you dropped it, and I was going to give it back, so, here." he said handing her the tiny device she loved so much.
"Th-thank you."
"Ignoring Chris's protests of "Hey- I'm over heeere!", DJ slowly grabbed Eva's right hand.
Then, in that moment, they both felt something that sent a spark through their bodies-an attraction of sorts-and they found themselves both leaning closer.
"Aww, that's so cute!" cooed Izzy, causing DJ and Eva to jump apart.
Noah looked over at Izzy, concerned, and raised an eyebrow. "You do know she's probably going to try to kill you later, right Iz?"
Izzy turned around to face him, and smiled. As they kissed, neither one noticed DJ and Eva slipping away...
Two minutes and no sign of Chris's cameras later, both DJ and Eva found themselves looking up at a tall tree.
"You want me to help you up there?"
She shook her head. "No, I can make it."
"I know, Eva. I just don't want you to think I don't care."
She offered him a small smile, before scaling the tree with almost no effort. However, when it was DJ's turn, he kept sliding back down. Eva, noticing this, climbed back down to the lowest brance and reached out for him. Once they were both safely on a branch a few branches from the bottom, they sat.
"Why do you care so much?" she asked, playing with his fingers. She sat in front of him in between his legs, his arms wrapped around her.
"To be honest," he said in his teddy bear voice. "I really don't know."
"Oh." she mumbled, laying her head back on his chest.
"Um, Eva, please don't break my arm for asking this, but, do you want to be my girlfriend?" he asked in a nervous, Cody-like voice.
She lifted her head back to look at him. "Only if you won't expect me to turn into a-a Bridgette..." she spit out with distaste.
He shook his head, ignoring the comment about one of his friends. "Never."
And they kissed, setting off fireworks in their mind.
Off in the distance, on a tree way up high...
"Never saw that coming, eh."
were DJ and Eva out of character? mm, possibly. but whatever. I still have the only one! (that I know of) haha
