Haruna. The one and only Haruna. She's beautiful, she's smart, and she's funny when she wants to be. She's perfect. She's perfect in my eyes. Here we are, together, alone. Away from town, away from our foster parents, and away from our worries. In the forest under the night sky on top of the Inazuma caravan we quietly look at the stars. Not exactly quietly but still.

"That one over there is Antares." I say as I point out a star.

Being around her makes me really happy. We rarely get to spend any time together so each chance we get is a really big opportunity.

"I can see the constellation Cassiopeia!" she says as she points up and traces an 'M' shape.

"You have good eyes." I tell her.

"They're not as good as your eyes with those goggles." She replies.

I giggle at her as I take off my goggles. I blink twice and notice everything seem much closer.

"You can borrow them." I say as I give her the goggles.

Instead of taking them she puts her hand on my face. I look at her and notice the gleam in her eyes. The gleam tells me that she has been longing for something.

"It's been so long since I've seen your eyes." She says.

She smiles. I smile at her. She removes her hand from my face as I lean closer to her.

"Brother?"

Oh yeah, we're siblings. How the hell did I forget that?

"Sorry. I'm just not myself right now." I tell her.

"There's no need to apologize." She replies.

I look at her face. There are details that I don't see with my goggles. The gleam in her eyes that I saw earlier, her smooth complexion, and the curls at the end of her mouth when she smiles are a few of the details. What catches my eyes the most are her plump lips. Those are lips that long for a kiss, lips that long to kiss, and lips that long to be kissed. I bring my hand to her face and gently rub my thumb against her lower lip. Her eyes widen in surprise.

"What are you…?"

I lean closer to her slowly. As I lean I close my bare eyes. I can feel her breath on my chin.

"Eh? Kidou?" says a voice that isn't Haruna's or mine.

I let go of Haruna as I turn around and see Endou.

"Endou? What are you doing up so late?" I ask.

"I heard talking." He replies. "I guess I should be going back to sleep."

Endou leaves and the sound of the closing of the caravan door follows.

"We got caught." Haruna says as she giggles.

"Yes, we did." I say as I laugh with her.

We laugh. We both laugh. We laugh so hard that the caravan might be shaking. Before we ever let that happen we stop laughing.

"I'm so glad to be here with you, Haruna." I tell her as I look at her.

She smiles. She turns her head to look at me and says:

"I'm so glad to be here with you too, brother."

I put my hand on her cheek and move closer to her as I close my eyes. I can feel her face closer to mine. And then it happens. I kiss Haruna. Her lips are soft and sweet like marshmallows when they're jet-puffed. I open my mouth and feel her bubblegum-like tongue. Without heed or warning she releases the kiss.

"Did you like that brother?" she asks.

"Yes, I did." I reply. "Why did you release the kiss?"

"I released the kiss to tell you that you are just dreaming."

And then I wake up in my sleeping bag at the Inazuma caravan.
