Hi! So, this is my first Rozen Maiden fanfiction, told from the perspective of the first doll, Suigintou. (Her name means "mercury lampe"). She is the only doll whose back is marred by black wings. I always found her to be my favorite character, which is why I'm writing about her in this fic, "Fight for Freedom". Enjoy, and R&R please! No flaming, thanks.

We fight for our freedom.

We're nothing but dolls, living mechanisms that will someday die, and return to their original form: nothing but petty toys for humans to play with. Life is a sad truth, and so death is a sad truth. But what is there that we can do? The answer: nothing. So while I live, as a doll, I may as well take the Rosa Mysticae of the others, and become the most powerful.

But none of it matters in the end, so why?

I don't know why I am here. I am nothing but a pawn in this Alice Game, made by my own loving Father, the dollmaker Rozen, so that he may someday find his perfect daughter, Alice. And if it is my destiny to be she, then so be it. I will be Alice. I will be perfect for him.

How I hate her. I hate my sister, Shinku. She knows my secret - I am not a perfect doll. I am not junk. I refuse to be known by this name. I hate her. That is why her Rosa Mystica will be the first to join the weak Souseiseiki's. I hate her so.

Perhaps there is more than the Alice Game and Father in this world. I long for the Rosa Mysticae, now, so that I will be able to fix Megu. She and I are both broken inside. She needs a new heart. To her, the heart is the Rosa Mystica. Since hers is no longer functioning, she will leave the world soon. For once, I feel a need stronger than the desire to win the Alice Game.

Recently, I've come to realize that the Alice Game is nothing but what it is called - a game to determine the perfect daughter, the flawless child, the beautiful doll, Alice, for our Father, who created us. He shaped us into what we are now - impeccably created dolls with the ability to speak and think, almost like humans.

But we're not.

And we never will be.

That's why we fight for our freedom - in the hopes that someday, we will become more human, and attain the perfection that is being Alice.

So, there it is! Like I said earlier, please R&R... it helps me a lot! Thanks again for bothering to read this oneshotty drabble thingy.
