I have always loved Fall ever since I was a little girl. There was something inspiring about how the leaves fell in bright colors. I loved raking leaves into a huge pile to jump into. There were also a bunch of recipes I wanted to try this year since I now had my own kitchen and crops to cook with. My cooking skills were improving, and I wanted to try the recipes that I got from the newest vendor in town. I read the required ingredients, glad that I had everything. The smell of pumpkin filled the air as the pies baked in the oven. I decided to bake two pies this year. One for Agate and the other for Fritz. I wrapped up two of them and placed them in my bag. I grabbed a plate of sweet potato salad and left my house.

I adored the rich browns, reds, and oranges that the land turned in this seasons. It had such a fantastic feeling to me, and it was a bit chillier today than usual. I knew that winter was soon, but I didn't want Fall to end. On my way to town I saw Agate in the mountain area. I waved to the animal ranger with a smile on my face.

"Morning, Agate. Spending time with the bunnies again?" The tiny white bunnies bounced towards me when they saw me. They were afraid of me at first, but once I showed them that I wasn't a dangerous person, they decided not to run away anymore. I gave them carrots or fodder whenever I saw the little cuties. I've seen a black bunny, but it doesn't seem to trust me.

"Yes I am. Is that pie for me? Thank you, Hazuki. I will enjoy having that later. I was just checking on how the animals were doing. Hope you have a nice day today. If you want to go to the safari, let me know."

"I will. Have a good day yourself," I finished my salad and put the plate back into my bag. I felt more energized and decided to see how Raeger was doing. I knew that this season would be very busy for the chef since this was the season of eating. But when I got to the restaurant he wasn't there. I guess today must be Wednesday. I forgot to check my calendar. Oh well. Guess I should visit my boyfriend.

When I reached Fritz's farmland, what I saw didn't surprise me. He was in his crop yard, passed out. I guess he overworked himself again. I shook my head. I loved the guy, but he can really be such a klutz. I picked the ginger farmer up and carried him into his house. It was messy as always. I set him down in this bed and placed the pumpkin pie on the table. He would be hungry when he wakes up, so I went to the kitchen. He didn't have much ingredients, so I figured he would enjoy some egg soup. I heard grumbling behind me and could tell that he was waking up.

"Good morning sleeping beauty. I thought you were going to sleep all day. I found you passed out when I got here. You really need to learn to work at your own pace and stop overworking yourself, Fritz" I sighed, "I made you some egg soup."

"Thank you, Zuki," his eyes opened a bit more when he saw me, "You didn't have to cook for me."

"I wanted to. Hurry up so that the soup doesn't get cold. We can share the pie later tonight."

We didn't say much as we finished eating. After I was done, I got up to leave.

"Wait Zuki," Fritz's voice made me stop and turn around.

"What is it Fritz?"

He went up to me and kissed me on the cheek, "I love you. Have a good day today."

I smiled as I left his house. Today really was starting to be an amazing day.
