-PROLOGUE-

"Lily, don't do it!" I turned to see my dark haired sister yell at me once more before I let go of the swing at its highest pointed and flew forward, letting out a shriek of laughter. I soared for what seemed and eternity and when I landed it was like someone had been setting me down to earth gently one foot after the other.

I turned to my annoying older sister waiting for yet another scolding, "Mummy told you not to!" Petunia dragged her sandals across the loose rocks below her and came to a stop. She leapt up, her tiny hands on her even tinier hips. Petunia was very . . . tiny despite being older than I.

"Mummy said you weren't allowed, Lily!"

I couldn't help but giggle. Of course, she was just being silly. "But I'm fine!" I twirled, showing my over-protective sister how 'okay' I was. Then I had an idea, "Tuney, look at this. Look what I can do."

I guess that for the most part I only did the dangerous things I do just for the negative attention from Petunia. I decided to let Petunia breathe for a moment and while I did something a bit more whimsical than dangerous. I turned from picking up a fallen flower to see Tuney looking warily about the playground. It was deserted aside from us.

I skipped towards my elder sister and said "Tuney, look!" The flower in my hand had began to pulsate, the petals opening and closing and opening again.

"Stop it!"

"It's not hurting you!" I replied kind of cross. But I closed my hand on the flower anyway and tossed it to the earth.

"It's not right," Petunia hissed in a pathetic facade. I could've sworn I saw her eyes follow the flowers decent towards the earth, she turned to me. "How did you do it?"

"It's obvious, isn't it." I turned with my sister to see the source of the voice. A small boy jumped out from behind a bush. Well I guess he wasn't too small. But compared to the large black trench coat that was drowning him he was definitely little.

He didn't have the most handsome face but he did have kind eyes despite the fact that they look murderous. He looked . . . kind. But that didn't stop Petunia screeching like a five year old when she saw him.

The boy looked suddenly embarrassed to be here.

I had to stop myself from flushing a vivid pink. "What obvious?"

The unnamed boy with athick curtain of creasy black hair looked suddenly . . . excited. He shot a quick look at my sister before lowering his voice. "I know hwat you are."

"What do you mean." I asked genuinley curious but a deep deep part of me really didn't want to know.

"You're . . . you're a witch."

From that moment on my life has never been the same.

*AUTHOR'S NOTE*

Yeah, yeah yeah, I know that it's completely based off of the scene in "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows", but that's because I'm sticking with the canon series. Trust me it'll get more interesting!

And I'm warning you now, I'm not too good when it comes tpo posting regularly but I'll try to post at least once a week! Okay?
