Chapter 1: She's Here!
Lady Palutena had emerged from the Plane and stepped foot on the famous Tomodachi Island. The sky was a vibrant orange as the sun was about to set on a fantastic day. She inhaled the fresh air of the tropical environment and smiled. She was holding suitcases in both of her hands. The goddess looked around and saw her subordinate, Pit, joyfully running to her.
"Lady Palutena, you're finally here! I'm so happy you made it!" Pit gushed as he pulled his goddess into a tight hug.
The green haired deity was almost knocked off balance from Pit's sudden burst of affection. She chuckled and patted his head, "It's great to see you too Pit! As much as I enjoy a good hug, I think you're going to crush me!"
Pit embarrassingly released her and dusted off her robe. A couple of seconds of silence passed between the two before the brown haired angel spoke.
" A-anyways. I'm here to escort you to the apartments. All of the other fighters are already there. So, LET'S GO!" Pit had ran north to the building after speaking.
Pit had reached the front doors, they were stopped by tall man in a white suit. His hair, gloves, and footwear all matched his suit's color. He was scowling as he pulled out a silver pocketwatch and sighed.
"How disappointing. I really would have thought Pit would retrieve her on time." He shook his head and continued to wait.
"Hey Master Hand! I made it just in time didn't I? And I brought Lady Palutena too!" Pit said proudly as he pointed.
Except, Palutena wasn't present. Master Hand cracked his knuckles and sighed.
"Sir Pit. Lady Palutena is not here, and if she doesn't arrive soon, then I will flog you with a fan."
Pit's eyes widened in absolute terror as Master Hand's words stung like dipping into hot spring. He stepped back and broke into a full sprint back into town. Palutena was wandering around the island, and had eventually found the apartments. She saw Master Hand and approached him.
"Hello sir. My subordinate and I were looking for the apartments, am I in the right place?" She asked politely.
Master Hand's expression changed instantly when Palutena had arrived. He took a bow and smiled.
"Of course Lady Palutena, I am Master Hand. And we have been waiting for you! I trust that you have encountered Sir Pit on your way here."
Palutena had laughed softly.
"Oh yes. He had passed me and went on and on about finding me. I'll bring him here right now Master Hand."
Palutena had smiled and raised her arm to the sky. In a puff of smoke, her staff had appeared in her hands and she gripped it with authority. She tapped the ground beneath her and the tool started to glow. She looked to the sky as the light shined upon her and Master Hand. Pit was flying through the air and his scream rang throughout the island. He suddenly stopped when he had reached his deity. Pit was dazed. Master Hand had muffled his laughter from the scene.
"Ahahah, well. I must thank you Lady Palutena. Now that the two of you have arrived, allow me to show you in." Master Hand announced.
Master Hand had held one of the doors open and let the two enter. The Palutena was astounded by the sheer amount of people in the main lobby. There must have been almost sixty other people in the room with her.
