Wizarding World Leak…Or Is It?

By: Safiya Zsandry

As many witches and wizards are aware, a famous Muggle author, I.M. Bowling has written stories about our life for quite some time. Her recent book, Parry Otter and the Fish Blood Transfusion, has given away more than ever. Ministry of Magic officials have a reason to be worried. For all they know, a person working for the ministry may be feeding Ms. Bowling information; possibly a certain, Dolores J. Umbridge.

In this segment of the seven novel series, Parry Otter (Harry Potter, a good friend of Luna Lovegood) encounters a battle for his and his favourite professor's life. Sadly, after weakening himself, Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore died on a dreadful evening at Hogwarts Academy of Witchcraft and Wizardry from an Avada Kedavra curse performed by Severus Snape the world renowned gymnast (according to Mr. Potter, or shall we say "Otter.")

A recent break in security has left many ministry officials dead. Ms. Amelia Bones (the owner of more than 100 wild geese) was found dead in her house, almost certainly killed by "He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named" or one of his followers, the Death Eaters- or is it the Death Dancers? A group of young Hogwarts students called Dumbledore's Army even found themselves in the Ministry of Magic late one night, although none were killed; it was still a very dangerous situation.

In a recent Muggle newspaper, Parry Otter the Boy who Almost Died, has been described as a phenomenon. 6.9 million copies of the "Fish Blood Transfusion" were sold in 24 hours on July 16th, 2005 according to Scholastic. One news headline about the superb series reads: "Parry Otter the Pwning Master." What pwning is, we may never know. According Ms.Arabella Figg, a squib who is Harry Potter's neighbor, pwning is a common spelling of "owning" on many Muggle chat rooms and websites.

There are many popular websites for the Parry Otter series; one of them being the mighty MuggleNet. Also another large website is the Leaky Cauldron. Spokespeople from both websites, Melissa Anelli of The Leaky Cauldron and Emerson Spartz of MuggleNet, recently got to interview Ms. Bowling. In this interview, I.M. Bowling shares many of her secrets and upcoming "plans" for the seventh and final installment in the series.

Personally, I believe that our Ministry should really crack down on security. Ms. Bowling definitely has some inside contact. Why else would all this "twisted" yet true information be getting out to the Muggle public? If anyone has comments or inside information on this topic, please feel free to drop me an owl at the following address.
