Disclaimer: I do not own Charmed. Too bad though, that'd be cool.

Piper stared at the horizon. She sighed and wiped away a lone tear that rolled down her face. Leo was gone. He tld he wasn't going to be able to come back. He told her he had to go. Well Wyatt needs a father! She had yelled at him as he took one last look at her and orbed to wherever the hell he went to. That was about an hour ago. After that, Piper had driven to a hill overlooking the city. Leo was always leaving and coming back.

You can say your comin' back
You can say your leavin'
Wish that you would let me know
So I could stop my grievin'

She had cried so many tears over him. But he couldn't help loving him. His laugh, his smile. She missed the day when his wings were clipped. he had saved her from death, nd his punishment was to be a mortal. She had let him stay at her club, but they weren't together anymore. She was with Dan now. But he fought like hell to get her ack. In the end, well...he did. It always seemed like thay had to fight to be together.

And if the road come back to haunt me
Am I gone and I do not know
If the sky come back to taunt me
Am I gone and I'm feelin' low
Gone and I'm feelin' low

Looking back, she realized it would be eassier to liv without him. Sure she would miss him like hell, but she wouldn't always be wondering where he was late at night, if he was hurt, or when he'd be back.

Don't talk of things that you don't understand
No don't, discuss what you don't know
It never did you any good no how
Don't leave your things
Well you got baggage hanging around
It only makes it hard to walk this town

But he couldn't leave Wyatt behind. He needed a father. She refused to let her son grow up without a father. She could imagine Wyatt growing up and seeing all his friends and their dad's playing catch in the yard, or going fishing. Wyatt would never get that. His dad would be up in...Elderland. She didn't want to be a single parent. She could handle the pain of Leo walking away from her. Sure, it would take time, but she could do it...eventually. But he couldn't leave Wyatt.

You can say you're comin' back
You can say you're leavin'
I wish that you would let me know
So I could stop my grievin'

And when the clouds roll back I think of you
The springtime makes me grin
And everytime I turn around
You're leavin' again
You're leavin' again
You're leavin' again
You're leavin' again
Mmm-mmm
You're leavin' again

Piper would miss him. But like Lo had told her, she'd find someone else. Piper sighed once more and started the engine. She had a son who loved her, and a family waiting for her back home. She looked upwards and whispered. "I'll love you forever Leo."
