For Dark
It didn't seem so
long ago,
When we first met
unexpectedly.
It seemed rough at
first,
But our bond began to
grow.
Our jobs took forever
to get finished,
'cause everyone
watching seemed to make it longer.
But it would always be
such a success,
Except for the problems
that soon diminished.
Nothing ever got in our
way,
Even in really bad
situations
You even surprise me a
lot,
Like what you did to
get your way.
I soon realized I
should let my true feelings slip out,
Hard to believe I
learned that from you.
Without you to be there
for me,
I'd probably be a
wreck right now, no doubt.
We helped each other out since the day we came to be,
It was never a waste of
our time.
Even though we can't see or hear each other,
One of these days we'll be able to, you see?
I thank you for all the
times you've been there,
I feel like a new
person.
Maybe someday we'll
meet face to face,
I'll be counting the
days that go by anywhere.
Let's not see this as
the end,
But see this as a new
way.
