White Tomb
As soon as the royally adorned coffin laid in the middle of the castle's hallway, thousands of people stepped forward to show their gratitude. They followed the coffin since it was carried around the city of Sol-Falena. Knights circled around, bowing at the beautiful face now at her eternal sleep. Her smile was sincere, for everyone who got a chance to actually see her in her coffin. A smile meant her duty was completed.
She's anything that a knight would want to be. The one willing to give her life in the loyalty. As long as her most important person alive. Half of the visitor cried. All tears for their beloved warrior lady.
"Go get brother." Whispered a girl between her sobs. A teary eyed purple haired knight nodded. She blended into the crowd, walking toward East wing. The ceremonial was just about to start, one thing they couldn't do without him.

Knock, knock!
"Yeah, I'm coming." He unenthusiastically opens the door. "Oh, it's you, Miakis. I though it was…" He couldn't finish his sentence. "Her." Miakis added. "It feels so strange. Some times I thought she is around me, as usual. It's different without her. I spend more than half of my life with her, and now she's gone. Gone, forever." He bit his lower lip.
"I understand, I know!" She sobbed. "For all people, why it must be her?" They let silence took place in the air. "It's all because of me. If it wasn't for me, she must be still here now, smiling." He hollowly smiled. His hair was in total disorder, out from their lock. "But she smiled, until the end of her life." Murmured Miakis. "I know how she felt, exchanging her life for her most important person. I will do the same for the Princess."
"Do I have any reason to stay alive?" Miakis glanced furiously. Her eyes weren't dried yet, but now anger lingered within. "You have! Because she has traded her life for you, Prince! Don't you dare saying something like that anymore!" Both of them stay silent. An uncomfortable air grew between them.
"Princess told me to call you. The ceremony will start anytime soon." She shut the door. Prince Freyjadoul stared at his arms, where a shimmering warm light radiated as well as small pulses. The Twilight Rune stared back. He reached for his comb, and began to tidy himself.
Queen's Knights assembled in the inner circle. Behind, stood all members of the former army. At the outer circle were the maids and other soldiers. When the Prince arrived, Lymsleia gave the order to move. Queen's Knights carried her shiny golden coffin.
Before the burial, each of them gave their last message for her. One by one, in a neat order. Freyjadoul resigned himself from the soldiers. He stood at the corner of the graveyard alone, spent the rest of the funeral ceremony.
Lymsleia, as the Queen, got the last chance to talk after Miakis. "Thank you for all your servitude and loyalty towards the crown, and more importantly, for your allegiance for my brother. Goodbye." She wept again. "B-brother, it's your turn." She knew, no one will argue if their queen cried for this rite.
"Goodbye, Lyon."
"My, you look very bad, Prince."
"Yeah, Lymsleia was all worried about me."
"I think you need something refreshing, after all those things happened while ago."
"What are you trying to say, Georg?"
"I planned to go on a journey overseas. Wanna tag along?"
A/N: Completed again, yay! This has some connections with 'White Wings', my first fic for Suikoden which I have posted long ago. Hope you like it!
