Nico di Angelo had fallen asleep on Will Solace's shoulder.
Of course Will didn't mind one bit, he barely even noticed the kid was there. With the obvious exception of the soft snore the boy let out with every breath and the way Nico's messy black hair tickled Will's neck…
Okay, maybe Will did notice but in his defense, Nico was really cute when he slept. His arms crossed over his chest and his fingers twitching ever so slightly, Will watched Nico make subtle faces that you wouldn't notice unless you were paying attention.
Nico stirred, knocking Will out of his thoughts. He looked down the hill at the passing campers, jogging without a care to their next activity. Dinner was in less than an hour now and he knew that if he didn't wake the son of Hades up soon, he would get chewed out pretty bad for it. He didn't care much though, he was too busy thinking about how he could chew Nico out himself for drooling all over his shirt.
He sighed and adjusted Nico so that he could move his right arm, it had been starting to fall asleep. Nico took a deep breath in response to Will's movement. Will smiled.
The two of them weren't exactly "together", but they did spend an awful lot of time together and flirted quite a lot too, though he wasn't sure if Nico was aware of either of those things – even if it was obvious to the whole camp.
Will yawned, realizing exactly how tired he was himself. He let himself relax and listened to the sound of the younger boy's breathing, which was only succeeding in making him sleepier. After what seemed like only a few seconds, Will had fallen asleep, his head on Nico's, thinking about how lucky he was to have a friend – or maybe something more – like Nico.
