This part takes place in the end of season 3 where Angel is supposed to leave Buffy after the graduation fight.

Buffy was looking for his face in the crowd. Desperately hoping that he'd come through the smoke - hold her and kiss her and promise to stay forever.
"He made it Buffy, but when the fight was over he took off." Xander said and Buffy stared at him without saying a word.
Then she could feel his presence, it almost touched her skin. She turned around and saw him standing there looking at her - this was it - he was leaving her.
But she couldn't let him, she ran after him but stopped right before him. They stared at each other and then Angel opened his mouth and to her surprise he sang softly.
"So is this goodbye? Is it time to set you free?" As he brushed a strand of hair away from her face.
She looked into his eyes as she replied: "Is it time to let it fly? Is time to let it be?"
Angel turned around with a sad look on his face. "We used to take turns ... to cover up the pain."
Buffy put a hand on his arm and made him look at her again. "And deep below it burns, and the feeling still remains ..."
Angel pulled her into his arms and together they sang, gazing at each other: "You're gonna find someone new. I really hope you do 'cause I love you. And the sun will come on through ...it's gonna shine for you cause I adore you."
Angel let his hands run up and down her arms. "Yes we gave it a try ...but maybe for too long."
Buffy shook her head and hid in his chest. "Out of every sorrow, another day will dawn."
Buffy turned away from him but Angel came after her and put his arms around her from behind.
"You're gonna find someone new, I really hope you do, cause I love you. And the sun will come on through it's gonna shine for you - cause I adore you."
Buffy fought back her tears as she sang alone. "And the road, travels on. But I'm still near you. In my life, like a song, I will still hear you ...still..."
She turned around again slowly so that she could face Angel. Slowly they began to let go of each other.
"You're gonna find someone new, I really hope you do cause I love you." Angel sand with tears in his eyes too.
"You're gonna find someone new. I really hope you do. 'Cause I love you. And the sun will come on through. It's gonna shine for you. 'Cause I adore you"
They parted more and more until only their hands were holding. They both looked like it was tearing them apart.
"Sun will shine for you. Sun will shine for you. 'Cause I adore you" They started to let go.
"Sun will shine for you. Sun will shine for you. 'Cause I adore you." Angel backed away more and more until Buffy couldn't see him in the smoke no more. She sobbed desperately wishing to follow him. But that would only make it harder.
She turned and walked back to her friends.

Buffy/Angel song = Someone new by Eskobar feat. Heather Nova, however in the first verse it's not - 'is it time to let it be?' but 'is it time to let it bleed?' but I like be better.
And hey it's all been done before - I know that but I just was in the mood after a major overdose of listening OMWF soundtrack. So go ahead FLAME me, I won't mind.
