Author's Note:
This is a response to a challenge in the JC Cafe to write a badfic, containing
the following things:
declarations of DAL (deep abiding love), coffee, boots (this for /NE and Visi),
torpedo bays, missing/stolen pips, turbolifts (but no turbolift-smut please, that's
another story).
Bonus points for:
explanation as to how ppl get a tan on VOY when there's no natural light on board ship,
comm-badge chirping at the most inopportune of times, the phrase "Commander - my ready
room. NOW."
The Story Of Ensign Chakotay
--------------
"And I hearby demote you to the rank of Ensign, Commander"
"What did you just say Captain?"
"That I demote you."
"Oh. Ok."
"Dont you want to know why"?
"Nah. Ensign you said? Sounds good."
"Ok. fine then. How about dinner tonight?"
"Sure. Why not. "
" Well, I'll see you tonight then, Ensign. Dismissed."
That night they had dinner. The had veggetarian hamburgers because Chakotay is a Vegetarian. Then they had coffee. The next morning she couldn't find her pipps, because she had misplaced them the night before. That ment she wasn't the captain. So she didn't go to work that day. In stead, she dressed in black leather and put on her kneehigh boots and went to the hollodeck On her way she stopped by Enginering to say hello to Bellanna. But she was in the torpedo bay. When she got to the holodeck, Chakotay was there too, because he was only a Ensign now.
"What are you doing here" she asked?
"Playing" he answered.
"Why aren't you working" she said.
"Because you havent' told me to go to work." he answered.
She rolled her eye's then said:
"Commander - My ready room. Now!"
When he didn't move, she asked him why. "Why aren't you comming?"
"Because I'm not the Comannder. Tuvoc is the commander."
"Ah... good point. Ensign - my ready room. NOW."
So then they went to the Turbo Lift to the Bridge and then stepped in to the Ready Room.
"What did you want?" He asked
"You." she answered.
"Why?" he asked.
"Because I love you." she answered.
Just then the commbadge chirped. "Janeway here."
"Captain, we have just gone into battle with the borg." Tuvok said.
"Ok... take care of it, Commander. I'm having a day off."
"Understood, Captain."
Then Janeway and Chakotay had sex on the sofa in her Ready Room. Afterwards, they went back to the Holo Deck and played football and got a nice tan.
PS Voyager won over the Borg and Janeway of course beat Chakotay in football.
