"Why do people think being with someone is the answer to everything?"
I turned my head and stopped writing. Sirius had to talk to me, because either James and Peter weren't paying attention at all. And also, I sat next to him. We were in Binns' class and James was trying to get Lily's attention. Peter was drooling over his book. Typical. Sirius had to be super boring.
"Well, I don't know." I shrugged to answer his question. I'm not mastering love and romance. It's James' thing. "Why'd you ask that?"
He grinned. "Curiousity, Moony."
"I am not into those things, Padfoot. You know that." I continued writing. "Ask James."
"It's not fair." Sirius said, more to himself I guess. Not to response my answer. Even I thought, he didn't hear me. "I hate falling in love."
I pretended not to listen.
"How can James love her? Why not me?"
I turned my head. Sirius blushed. It's not happened…
"What—do you mean—you—no way!" I choked. James turned around.
"What's going on, Moony?"
Sirius waved his hands, secretly blinked his eyes. Clearly, told me to keep his little secret. I nodded, vaguely.
"Nothing, Prongs."
I smiled. "Yeah, nothing."
