Love is Love
Author's note:
- No action just talkie, talkie. This is a prologue to my Young Justice fanfiction between Kid Flash / KF (Wally West) and Robin / Rob (Dick Grayson). It's a bit different from the cartoon / comic since my imagination and laziness took over me as I was writing this. My grammar is poor, deal with it...my writing skills suck...don't read it.
I call Dick, Robin because Wally still doesn't know his really name, and even though this isn't from Wally's point of view...nor Robin's, I decided to only start calling Robin by his name as soon as Wally knew his real identity.
I suck, this sucks, proceed at your own risk.
Next chapter will be better...I promise, I'm taking a lot more time writing it and adding descriptions...I just didn't feel like this prologue needed much of those.
Prologue:
"Why are there no villains trying to smash a building, kill a major scientist or a superhero!" said Wally, fidgeting over the PS3's remote.
"I think it's good that everything's been so quiet lately, boring but good. It means no one is being hurt and we can take some time off to rest"
"Or...Batman has been keeping all the missions to the league, bother telling your daddy that he could give us a few spare missions?"
"Oh, shut up KF!" Robin was desperately trying to ignore the daddy remark.
"Why Rob? Am I...bothering you?" and as Wally said it he made sure his face was only a few inches away from Robin's, so close, to close.
"TOO DAMN CLOSE WALLY!"
"Maaaaaaan! I really need to use my powa's for something, they'll wear off!" said Wally as he sat himself back on the couch.
"That's just stupid KF, plus, your metabolism seems to be working just fine, better than ever; you've been eating those burnt cookies like your life depended on it." Robin was somewhat angry, his voice was stern and he blurted it all too fast.
"Calm down Rob, and...It does depend on it; M'gann made them, hehe..." he wore a grin that looked too cute, only accented by his freckles that blessed his face with a boyish charm.
"Do you really mean it when you say all those things to M'gann, Black Canary and God knows who else?" Robin was obviously annoyed, it puzzled Wally because he just couldn't figure out why.
"Yeah, I mean, they're girls...girls are cool!"
"What about boys? Are boys cool KF?" And Robin was serious, his eyes were locked on Wally's and if it wasn't for the mask, he would've seen it.
"Stop joking around Rob, that's not even funny..."
"Oh but I am being serious, we are in the XXI century, everything's possible now...or virtually everything anyway. Love is Love regardless of gender."
"I...I guess you're right" And it bewildered Robin that Wally was now red from ear to ear, freckles still accentuating that charm.
"So...how's that game going on?" Said Robin, as he tried to break the huge iceberg that had just formed between the two.
"Ah...Game Over"
And neither Wally nor Robin had noticed that the game had long gone been over, as a new one had just begun.
