With a deep seated happiness, She stood, feeling her ankle length nightgown fall all of the way to said appendage.
Quickly, she hurried to her bathroom, knowing it was the only part of her house with seals against the Byakugan. Many Hyuga's were pervs, a perk of their Byakugan.
Naturally, it didn't help that she was from the most distant of the Branch families, with sixteen generayions of breeding with people outside if the clan. Other then her parents, both of whom were Hyuga, every other ancestor married out of the clan.
Her parents of course only married to get her to bear the power of the Byakugan,a talent locked in their family for eleven generations. They wanted to rise above their station, a fact impeded by their statuses as servants and her inability to harness the Byakugan.
She might still activate it, but she had yet to do so. A fact she was glad for since it masked her from the views of the main family. Something that pissed of her parents, or rather, had pissed them off. They died four years ago, killed via the Caged Bird Seal for running their mouths to wrong elder.
She didn't miss them,even if she raised herself. Her parents used to make her train til her bones broke, exposing her to trauma of all sorts including attempting to drown her just to force her Byakugan. They deserved their death.
She continued to train, eager to fulfill her own goal.
She wanted to become a shinobi and move out of the clan. She wanted to break the seal on all Hyuga. She wanted to be more then a minor branch member, afraid for her life.
She wanted to be more. Her parents ambitions ran through her, despite everything.
Today was the day she applied for early testing within the Academy. She would have one week to train, and then she would be tested. Even at ten years old, she would be able to live on her own if she graduated. Everything, all if her goals relied on this.
It had to work...
It was all she had.
