Wow….this is really short….

Anyways. This goes out to my wonderful flamer, Sue Writer, I don't know who you are, but as you can tell, I'm still writing and I won't stop. If you hate my stories so much DON'T READ THEM! Geeze! It's really that easy! I happen to like my stories and so do a lot of other people. Try reading things that came from my own imagination at . and then tell me how bad of a writer I am. In all honesty, I DON'T CARE! ^o^ I'm actually entertained by your comments! So keep sending them, because they don't phase me a bit, not everybody will like my stories, I know that, but I've had several people tell me I'm excellent writing. So Thank you Sue, for providing me such wonderful entertainment with your reviews and providing me the joy of writing more against your protests.

He stared at the pink and orange sky, one leg dangling from the branch.

A single leaf drifted down beside his face.

"What is it Kaesuri?" the fire demon said in an annoyed tone, not once shifting his gaze.

"Oh c'mon, a girl can't watch the sunset with the one she loves? I need to talk to you Hiei." Kaesuri's tone suddenly turned serious.

Hiei smirked and closed his eyes for a moment. "What about?" he asked when he had opened them again.

"I love you Hiei, you know I do."

"Get on with it onna."

Kaesuri sighed. "But I feel there is something between us. A wall of cold hard stone that I just can't seem to break down, no matter how hard I try.

"You know me Hiei, I can't stand this wall. I want to be with you, truly. And I know you want to be with me, But that can't happen if you don't help me with this wall."

"I can't do that, Kaesuri." The demon answered, looking down and away.

The girl closed her eyes and gave a small smile. "I know. I was hoping for a different answer, but I know," She said, jumping from her branch. "Which is why I can't see you anymore. Good-bye Hiei, it was nice knowin' ya."

She looked back and gave him one last, sad smile, then turned back and disappeared into the trees.

The fire demon stared at the empty space into which Kaesuri had vanished, with a cold, firm expression, his emotions almost leaking through.

He listened carefully for her quiet footsteps to announce her return, but he heard nothing.

Only silence.
