Denaeyeth came through the window of the temple, landing lightly on his feet, not making a sound. Not to be disrespectful to Mother Moon, he just decided not to wait. He had been gone for two or so months, and he had to leave quite suddenly to catch his target and could only leave Ilieana a note and a kiss while she slept. He hated when that was the case, but work was work. A rogue and a priest did seem to be a bit of an odd pair, but they made it work. While she ws usually travelling for the high priestess, he knew she was at least in the temple. She had left her outside door unlocked and slightly open. She did that for him. He looked around the room, but with no sign of her. He started to unclasp his shoulder guards when a soft 'click' made him spring outside the balcony, out of sight.
Habit.
He smelled the sweet aroma for flowers and instantly knew. He moved into view.
"Deneayeth!" she gasped. She ran into his arms, hugging him tightly. "Woah, watch the ribs, pretty sure a couple are bruised…" he chuckled, kissing the top of her head. "I missed you," she murmured into his chest.
"Missed you too."
