(This is my first time trying this out. Please no rude comments and feedback is appreciated. This is one of my most favorite shippings and I really got into it thanks to Youtuber PokemonRangerBoy12, and 123pearlshipping for his one day off story. It's got me wondering what does it feel like to care about someone in a emotional way? I guess I'll find out in due time. With Ash winning his final gym badge it's off to the Pokemon center for a quick brake.
"Yes I finally got my eighth gym badge, now it's time for the Kalos League!" Ash quickly shouted followed by him punching the air, along with his Pokemon. Ash turned to his pokemon "Now get some rest guys we have some hard training to do tomorrow." All his pokemon nodded in agreement. "Well you seem to be excited Ash." said Clemont who was watching Ash. " Yeah," replied Ash "I have lost all of the leagues I've been in so far, and this time i'm not going to lose!" Upon hearing this Serena, Ash's friend since childhood was worried about this.
If he doesn't win what will happen? Serena thought to herself. He probably won't stay in Kalos for long, I don't want him to Leave.
"Hey Serena, are you okay? asked Bonnie Clemont's younger sister as she saw Serena's worried face. "Oh nothing Bonnie," she replied with a fake smile, "I was just thinking about something." Serena ended as Bonnie acknowledged and walked over to her brother. A few hours pass by and dinner was ready "Man Clemont this is really good!" Ash said as he ate everything on his plate. Serena however was a different story, she hasn't touched her food. Ash picked up on this and asked "Hey Serena, are you okay?"
Serena looked up from her plate and saw Ash with a worried look on his face. "Yeah" Serena replied "I just need some fresh air that's all." She said as she got up from the table and walked out of the Pokemon center.
Serena trying to keep herself from breaking down and start crying walked over to a nearby lake and sat down. If he loses he'll probably leave to go back to pallet town. Serena thought to herself, Ash I don't want you to go not after all we've been through, all we've experienced. Serena was about to start crying until "I can see you came out here," said a voice from behind. Serena jumped when she heard the voice but she turned to see who was talking and calmed down when she saw Clemont. (Bet you thought it was gonna be Ash)
"What's wrong?" asked Clemont. Serena replied with "Nothing, I just wanted to get some air like I said." Clemont knew she was lying, "Serena we've known each other for a while now, I can tell if you're lying or not." Serena turned and realized Clemont was right, they knew each other for almost a year now. "What's really bothering you" Clemont asked. Serena realized that she had to spill her biggest secret. "I don't want Ash to leave," Serena began "Ash has filled me with determination ever since we met at that pokemon summer camp back in Kanto. The thing is that... I love him." Serena said beginning to realize what she has just said. "It's okay," Serena turned to Clemont "What do you mean?" Serena questioned Clemont.
"The thing is that me and Bonnie already know about this." Clemont replied. Serena remembered all the hints that she has been trying to get Ash to notice. " I've been meaning to tell him but every time I try to say something my heart can't take it." said a sad Serena. "We should probably get back inside it's getting dark." said Clemont. Serena walked up to Clemont and said "Thanks for letting me have this talk with you." " No problem I hate to see one of my friends sad." Replied Clemont.
