Chapter 1: Light-Deus
Note: This switches off from Deus and Ex. Deus is Rikku's story (Rikku's perspective/1st person) and Ex is Auron's story (Auron's perspective/1st person).
Singing and Dancing. What other joy can there be besides those two? Love, friendship, gaining respect points, sphere hunting, and most of all… adventure! I remember him a lot during my last adventure. No not Tidus but a different him. He told me to come visit him. I tried once, but some spirit shooed my out of the Farplane. This time, I won't let any spirit shoo me away. Even if it takes me getting out my daggers and slicing them in half, I'll have to do it! He's probably almost a god now. I think all this stuff in my bed. Amazing, huh? I broke my habit of counting my spheres because Buddy installed a super guard system. If someone or something breaks in, machina dogs would march in and bark very loudly while the whole airship flashed in our trademark colors—green for me, blue for Yuna, and red for Paine. A siren would wail and our beds would vibrate. I am awake now because I constantly think of him. Today seems to be one of those days. My green eyes flashed as the sun seemed to wink at me. Was that him? Possibly sending rays of light towards me? I don't have peaceful dreams. I miss you… Dear… While I was running into the sphere dome, I saw that someone dropped a little sphere. It was small and I flicked it on. It was a music sphere! These are really rare but I wonder why they dropped it. The song that the girl sang that night that we danced played from it. Then it began to fuzz at the end and it shut off during the applause. I listen to it every night. Before I sleep while I brush my teeth, I hum the melody out loud which drives Paine insane. She tells me to stop listening to it, but I don't have a sphere of Auron do I? Today, I will jump ship again. This time, I will do a successful trip to the Spirits Haven. I pulled out a long bungee cord from under my bed and pulled another bungee cord out from inside my bedside drawer. I tied them together and jumped down from my bed. I ran towards the elevator and rode to the deck. I tied the bungee cord to the seagull and jumped down. I don't know where I would land but I could always crawl back up. I sped down onto the ground and where would I land? No body knows.
