Just a small little oneshot about the crew, if they were humans and what happens to them after the "bite" of '87, when they were forced to shut down.
The order to shut down their precious pizzeria hit them hard. They didn't leave. They made it their home instead. Freddy completely changed. He was no longer his cheerful and happy self. Instead, he was rather bitter towards everyone. The man still showed some compassion towards Chica and Bonnie, but seemed to outcast Foxy.
"It's all your fault… We wouldn't have had to shut down if it wasn't for you!" Freddy shouted at the younger man. Foxy shrunk back as he was insulted. The pirate walked back solemnly to Pirate's cove to hide behind the curtains. Chica and Bonnie could say nothing to defend their friend, in fear they would become victims of Freddy's rage. He was losing his mind, shouting nonsense and muttering about how it was all Foxy's fault. His actions were rough and aggressive. No more kind smiles or words, always a frown or harsh insults.
Foxy, on the other hand, isolated himself. Freddy, Bonnie, and Chica barely saw him anymore. He'd only come out to grab some food from the kitchen, and if Freddy saw him, he would get yelled at. He didn't mean to attack that parent that one day. It was just instinct. He only wanted to protect that child. Foxy decided it would be best to stay away from the others, to avoid either mockery or hurting anyone else. Sometimes, every now and then he is heard singing very softly, or crying. The pirate would only whimper, grunt, or make some sort of noise to respond to anyone.
Bonnie couldn't handle the silence. He would often play his guitar and sing to imaginary crowds. It was nothing at first, but he slowly spiraled into insanity just like Freddy and Foxy. Chica was worried about him, but he would wave her away, tell her the children were calling his name. He'd burst out laughing every now and then, but sounded so hollow, so empty. Almost as if he was forcing himself to laugh. He'd bite his lip and nails constantly, to the point where they would bleed. Bonnie didn't care at all. In fact, he embraced the pain and enjoyed it.
Chica kept her cheerful manner, yet she grew a morbid sense of humor. The young woman became rather reckless, and didn't care if she hurt herself. She does fret over the well being of the boys all the time though. Chica would often join in with Bonnie's singing. Yet she knew no one was actually there, unlike Bonnie. Her infatuation with Foxy seemed to grow, and she'd often wonder to Pirate's Cove, standing in front of the stage curtain, waiting, hoping, Foxy would let her in. The little sanity she had left was completely directed at him. Foxy returned her affections, but pushed her away in fear of hurting her.
Yet, even though the four of them seem to have changed drastically, and grew apart, throughout all of this, the four of them held one secret: they had violent urges. Freddy took his anger out often, destroying the old chairs and tables, punching holes in the walls. Foxy tried to hold them back, and would lash out every now and then. Bonnie came up with gruesome songs, and would end up swinging his guitar around, breaking it and other objects. Chica ended up hurting herself, but never minded it, and laughed the pain away, or never even felt it in the first place.
Needless to say, things were drastically different ever since the "Bite" of '87. Being isolated for so long, with no one but themselves and never seeing the world outside. They didn't know why they stayed. They could have left, gone their separate ways, and get on with their lives.
But they wouldn't leave. Not then, not now, not ever.
