KMeme Prompt: So, we all know that we Humans have some odd little sayings, one thing I noticed lacked in the ME franchise but quite understandably.

Just anything anons, I want to see Shepard using sayings without thinking (Bite the Bullet, Barking up the wrong Tree, Pot calling the Kettle Black) some one them an alien could take literately! - can you imagine saying 'Break a Leg' to Wrex and him taking it seriously and actually breaking someones leg..
Go with it anons, it doesn't have to be Shepard it could be Kaidan or Vega or even Cortez saying something that any non human wouldn't understand

"Ammo?"

"Check."

"Medi-gel?"

"Check."

"Emergency rations, water?"

"Check and check."

"Deck of cards?"

"Check." Cortez finished ticking the list on the data pad while Kaidan began packing all the gear back into the Kodiak. They were due to go on an N7 mission soon and it was going to be rough, so Shepard had called for an inventory of the Kodiak to make sure they had everything as last time they'd found out they'd ran out of medi-gel was in the middle of a fire fight. Garrus wandered over.

"So we've got everything?" Asked the Turian, cocking his head. Kaidan looked up at him briefly then returned to putting everything in the right place.

"Yep. Everything but the Kitchen sink." A flicker of confusion crossed Garrus' face but neither the Major nor the pilot saw it.

"Oh I'll be right back." Kaidan raised an eyebrow at Garrus departing, Shepard would be down soon to suit up along with himself and Garrus. So why was he going up in the lift? Shaking his head, Kaidan just began putting the bags and crates into the Kodiak.

Just as he finished, he heard Garrus come up behind, when he turned to face the Turian, Kaidan froze.

Garrus, stood there offering the sink from the Normandy's kitchen to him. Cortez immediately guffawed, quickly shoving his fist into his mouth and hurried off to cry with laughter with Vega. The Turian cocked his head in confusion at their reactions as Kaidan did a face palm.

This would be interesting to explain to Shepard and the Normandy's cook...
