Can You Hear Me?

She'd been lost for so long, invisible to everyone around her. But not anymore. She didn't have to ask 'can you hear me?' No more 'can you see me?' She had a purpose now, a calling. She would be seen and heard, respected for who she really was.

She hadn't asked to end up this way but she wouldn't argue with it…not with what she'd been given. It was a new lease on life. No one to tell her she was insignificant. No one to tell her she was crazy. It was her turn for revenge.
