Those Green Eyes

By The-Fan-Who-Lived

A/N Hey guys! This is The-Fan-Who-Lived! Here is my story Those Green Eyes. I know this is the suckiest!!!!! story ever!!!! But you must understand that I wrote this 2-3 years ago at like 10. I did not change ANYTHING for nostalgia's sake, only grammar and spelling. Hope you enjoy. Oh yes before I leave! I do not accept flames and will be used to make warm, yummyful s'mores for the nice reviews that KINDLY say I suck and the story sucks. Constructive criticism also helps me and I will try to respond to everyone's reviews. Also, I am slow with putting up stories and answering reviews because a) I can only get on FanFiction on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday and b) I'm super lazy. Alrighty then!!!!!! On with the story!!!!!! Oh yes if you are kind-well actually I will do this anyway-I have a surprise for you which I shall note at my ending Authors Note.

Every time she would see Harry, Petunia would think of Lily seeing those bright, green eyes.

She remembered her childhood, how Lily and she were the best of friends. They would do everything together. They would fight a bit, nothing terrible. It was usually about their room. Petunia was a neat freak, Lily…wasn't. Then she got her letter and Petunia hated her and called a freak.

She thought back to the night she found him on her doorstep. Curious emerald eyes looked up at her. She almost cried. Her sister was…dead.

Harry and Lily's eyes both showed what they were feeling at the time. But the major difference was each year Harry's eyes would get darker and darker every time he came back.

When he came back after his 6th year on his birthday, she asked him what was wrong. What was happening at Hogwarts each year? He sighed and grabbed a box of Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans and some Chocolate Frogs. He opened a Frog, took a bite, and laughed bitterly at the card. He showed it to Petunia. It was himself. He took a big breath and started. 5 minutes into the story she started crying. Harry's eyes were glazed over at the thought of the Mirror of Erised.

He finally got to his 4th, 5th, and 6th years. He looked like he was going to cry and Petunia let him. It was that day that changed her perspective of Harry… and magic.

He got up and hugged him, then whispered, "I always loved you, but Vernon never let me show it." He smiled brightly and said, "Thank you so much. You don't know how much that means to me." He told Petunia he had to go and she gave him a kiss on the cheek.

After he left, she heard Lily's voice, "I forgive you, Pet. That means more to Harry then you'll ever know. I love you and will always watch over you." She felt relieved and went back to her chores.

The End

A/N Ok there it is! Sucky as can be but you know what? I didn't read this before typing it and now that I do, I kinda like it now. So you know about reviews and all but now it is time for my surprise! Ok it isn't that great of a surprise but I am going to completely redo this story while keeping the full plot! Hope you liked this one and hope you enjoy the next one!!!!!!!

Happy Writing!
