Dragon of Wantoon
There once was a dragon in a place called Wantoon. It's a small village in the middle of the goblin woods. The forest is filled with rouse, fire pits, and goblins to keep people from entering. The villagers are protected by knights that come from a nearby kingdom. The dragon would attack the huts for the resident's bacon because Wantoon is famous for its massive pigs and GREAT bacon. However, it doesn't believe in taking pigs because it would burn all the bacon (a curse set on it by a fire demon) so it must sadly wait until it is turned into proper bacon by the villagers. So the villagers do their very best to hide all of the bacon. The dragon starts to become very hungry. He wants the hidden bacon and takes a dame (not princess) back to his lair. A total of 13 knights have been living in the village, but they only send 5 after the dragon to retrieve the girl. They go through goblin woods – fighting off the rouse and dancing around the fire pits all while keeping an eye out for goblin patrols. Two men die in the forest after being attacked by the rouse and burning alive at the same time. Their next obstacle – past the woods is to climb the mountains. Two more men die – one in a rockslide and the other was accidentally devoured by a rock biter. The lone knight survives to discover that the male dragon had a family and was only trying to bring home the bacon for all of his family to eat. His wife had robbed another town nearby to make a nest of gold for their younglings. Because only gold will do! Getting bored, the baby dragons try to play with the lady their father had kidnapped from Wantoon. They were having fun, but while the mother and father dragon were arguing about the bacon, the knight slips through and rescues her. The dragons and the humans somehow and each avoid each other for centuries in peace until the goblins wanted the bacon...
