I do not own Danny Phantom or Froot Loops.

The New Elemental Warriors

Deep in the Ghost Zone, amongst the ticking clocks and chiming bells, stood Clockwork, the Master of Time. He thoughtfully studied the Time Portal in front of him and knew his visitors would soon arrive.

"Clockwork...we are in need of your assistance."

Clockwork turned and surveyed his guests with glowing red eyes. "I am aware."

Three ghosts floated in front of him, hoods pulled over their faces and leaving nothing but shadows. One of them wore a green cloak, the other wore a blue cloak and the last wore a greyish white cloak. Three were missing from this group.

"Darkness has corrupted Light. He is out of control," Earth, the one in green, whispered.

"He has also kidnapped Fire and Ice to make them do his bidding," Wind snapped. "The situation is not good."

"Any particular reason why Darkness has forgotten his place in the elements?" Clockwork questioned.

"You know very well why." Aqua frowned. "He has taken this idea that he deserves to have more control on what happens in the human world. As you know, Darkness is synonymous to evil, and that is frowned upon in the human world. He feels underappreciated and useless."

"And because of this he is determined to take control of the human world. But in order to do this he needs to corrupt others in order for his plan to succeed," Wind finished. "Darkness can only do so much alone."

Clockwork thoughtfully twirled his staff in his hands. "You managed to take away the elements from Fire and Ice before Darkness got to them, correct?"

"Yes. Light as well."

"We need some reliable warriors to take the place of the fallen elements." Earth moved her cloak aside to reveal three glowing orbs of light. Clockwork felt a smile tug on his lips. He turned back to the Time Portal.

"I believe I know the perfect warriors."

...

"You guys ready?"

Danny Phantom, protector of Amity Park, floated in front of his two best friends. Sam Manson hefted up a bucket, which was filled to the rim with Froot Loops. "I'm loaded."

Tucker Foley clutched two plastic bags filled with red cardboard boxes of the sugary cereal. "I'm good."

The ghost boy grinned. "Perfect."

The three were outside of City Hall, crouched among the bushes that lined the side of the building. Danny peeked through the window and was satisfied to see that Vlad Masters was not occupying his office. "We're clear. But let's make this quick. We don't know how much time we have."

"Better change back," informed Sam. "He probably has ghost alarms rigged everywhere."

"But wouldn't he set them off?" wondered Tucker.

"Not if he has them set to recognize his ghost signature. Then they won't be active when he transforms."

Two rings of blue light formed around Danny's waist and spread until he became Fenton. "Can't take chances," he decided. He opened the window and the trio climbed through.

"Let's do this!"

Tucker ripped off the tops of the boxes and started swinging them around, sending colourful cereal bits flying everywhere. Sam upended the contents of her bucket into Vlad's desk. Danny was shoving cereal bits into the pocket of Vlad's coat, which hung on the hook on the back of the door.

He froze when he heard footsteps falling in their direction. "Time to book it!"

"We're done anyway," said Sam. They scrambled out the window a second before Vlad returned to his office. His shoes crushed the cereal as he stepped inside and he halted. Taking in the layer of cereal covering his floor and desk, he scowled fiercely, knowing very well who the cause was.

"Daniel!"

Sam, Tucker and Danny raced down the sidewalk, howling with laughter and tried to stay upright as they dashed off. Vlad's angry yells soon became whispers behind them.

"I can't believe we just filled Vlad's office with Froot-Loops!" Sam chortled, wiping tears from her face.

"It was awesome!" Tucker cheered. He held up his P.D.A and wiggled it. "I took pictures. This is so going on the Internet!"

Danny grinned. "He's going to kill me later, but it'll be worth it. It's going to take a while for him to get all that cereal out of there."

Sam snorted. "He's not gonna do squat. He's going to get his employees to do it for him."

"Well. Now I feel kinda bad."

"Don't be. Sure, it may be extra work for them, but at least they're getting paid well to do it."

Danny couldn't argue with that. As creepy and twisted as his archenemy was, he wasn't completely horrible. From what he heard, the employees in his office were paid well. "True."

"Hey, what's that?" Tucker asked suddenly, pointing up at the sky.

Three glowing orbs of light were flying towards them. One was red, one was white and the other was a golden colour.

"Look out!" Danny shouted and went to tackle his friends out of the way. But it was too late. With a painful impact, the three teens were thrown to the ground and each felt their body explode with a fiery pain and agony.

"Aaagghhh!" Sam cried, writhing on the cement.

Danny groaned with pain. How does something this random happen? And why does it have to happen to us? Of course, trouble does always seem to follow us around.

That was the last thought to cross his mind before white spots exploded behind his vision and everything went black.

...

"Children?" Earth bellowed, furious. "We come to you for guidance and help and you entrust the most powerful elements to mere adolescents?"

"Explain yourself!" Wind demanded.

Clockwork smiled. "You are judging what you can only see. One of these children is a halfa, half ghost, half human, and a very powerful one at that. The other two, only mortals and humans, are terrific fighters and show true spirit."

"How do you know they will not betray us?" Aqua asked dubiously.

"Have you forgotten? I know everything." Clockwork raised his staff and created a swirling blue and purple portal. The three unconscious teens floated through and landed on the floor.

"This should be interesting," Aqua muttered.
