Hiro laid on his bed, staring at the ceiling, not really seeing it.

The moon's light danced through the glass of his window, casting a milky light over the floor and onto his bed. Stars twinkled in the inky sky like a thousand winking eyes.

It was all his fault... if only he hadn't been so stupid!

... Then maybe he'd be alive...

If only he didn't go Bot Fighting... if only Tadashi didn't have to convince him to go to his school... if only he had decided not to go... if only...

Hiro sighed, rolling over onto his side, away from the window and it's beaming light.

Everything was so strange now... the sun shined like every other day... kids laughed and played in the park... people walked about, minding their own buisness... and it was so strange. It should be raining, thundering, hurricans should be tearing the hole world apart. People should be crying, hiding, fighting...

But they weren't. And would Tadashi have wanted them to?

But Tadashi was gone.

And he just wasn't coming back... and it was all Hiro's fault... all his fault... no one else's.

Tears stung his eyes, and he whipped at them furiously, not wanting to start crying all over again. A cloud shifted, blocking the moon's beaming light.

Tadashi was dead.

And it was all Hiro's fault, no matter what everyone said.

He'd never forgive himself, as long as he lived. Never.

No matter what Aunt Cass, Honey, GoGo, Wasabi, heck, even Fred says... it was all his fault. Just as simple as that...

All his fault...

Cass sighed, as she finished cleaning the last of the dishes. She couldn't sleep, so she had decided to do some chores.

It had been a week since the fire, and Hiro hadn't left his room for anything but the bathroom, and that was only when he really needed it.

She sighed again, leaning forward on the counter and gazing up out the window, as a dark cloud moved away and unblocked the glowing moon, surrounded by twinkling little dots.

Why did they have to die? First her sister and brother-in-law and now Tadashi... Hiro was all she had left now...

But he won't talk to her. She can't really blame him, he's probably blaming himself for the hole thing. But Cass knew that it wasn't Hiro's fault. And, one day, if it be days, weeks, months, even years... he'll realise that too.

She will admit that she was indeed heart broken. Her oldest nephew had just died, and now her second nephew might not be registering for school anymore, and was most probably blaming himself for this whole fiasco.

Cass sighed one more time, before pushing herself away from the window and going to her bedroom, climbing into bed. She took one last, long look at the beaming moon, before turning over, hopping for at least an hours sleep...

Tadashi sighed, looking down sadly at his brother and Aunt.

Hiro was blaming himself...

But Tadashi couldn't- wouldn't- regret going to save Calaghan, even if the guy turned out to be a maniac.

"Tadashi,"

He turned, to see his mother and father walking towards him, both looking sadly down at Hiro and Aunt Cass.

"Are you okay?" his mother asked, placing a hand on his broad shoulder.

"Ya," Tadashi said, turning his sad gaze back onto his little brother, "It's Hiro that's not okay."

His father gave a sad noise, walking up next to Tadashi and looking down at his son, his own eyes holding great saddness.

"You did the right thing," he said, "Going after Calaghan... Hiro... and your Aunt and friends... will grieve, but they will have to accept that you are gone, that your in a better place... it'll all be okay in the end... if it's not... than it's not the end."

And Tadashi's only regret was leaving his little brother.

Though, as the story played out, Tadashi couldn't regret it fully.
