I sat in my room, looking up at the stars. I had a slight smile on my face as I watched the glowing balls of fire and gas twinkle. I don't know why, but I loved the quietness. Just the feeling of being alone satisfied me. Ever since Abby had left Sector V to become the Supreme Leader, I've been more solitary.

Who knows how long I have been sitting here. I don't really interact with the other operatives every since Nigel and Abby left and Numbuh 27 and 37 moved in.

My ears tuned to the sound of heavy footprints clanging against the metal of the cockpit that I slept in. I turned my head, letting my gaze fall on a tall girl. She had mocha skin and wore a dark blue short sleeve shirt that covered her black shorts. She wore a red hat that covered her chocolate brown eyes, and a long braid hung down her back. I couldn't help but smile when I saw the face I haven't seen in so long.

"Hey Hoagie." she said.

"Supreme Leader, sir - ma'am sir!" I exclaimed, scrambling to my feet, staggering a salute.

"At ease." she said, as I pulled down my arm.

"N-Numbuh 5, what are you doing here?"

Abby walked up to me. "Well, Kuki and Wally said you have been…" she searched for the right words, "…off lately." I sighed and sat back down, not looking at her. "…So Numbuh 5 decided to check up on you." I looked back up at the stars, trying to avoid the girl overall. "Come on, tell Numbuh 5!" she urged, sitting down next to me.

I sighed. "Well… ever since Numbuh 1 left, it's been different, and I felt like I could only talk to you with Wally spending all his time with Kuki and all, but then Numbuh 362 disappeared and left you in charge, and you left." I confessed.

"Listen Hoagie, no matter how bad it may seam, Numbuh 5 is always here for you. She was there for you when your dad died, she was there for you when Numbuh 1 left, and she's with you now."

I looked at Abby, then back up at the sky my eyes setting on the stars. "Where do you think he is?" I asked, feeling a hurting sensation enter my heart.

"Who?"

"My dad. My mom says that he is always watching me with the stars."

Abby looked up, her mocha skin brightening due to the refelction of the starlight. "Well, where do you think he is?"

I searched the sky, my eyes setting on a large, bright star, that stood out from all the others. "That one." I said, pointing to the star.

Abby smiled. "Do you ever wonder if Numbuh 1 thinks about us. Numbuh 5 can't imagine being so away from home, but probably able to see home. It would be torture!" My chest whirled with emotions as I looked up at the sky. I could feel my eyes getting hot. Abby looked over at me with full concern.

"Hey Hoags, what's wrong?"

I sniffled and quickly whipped my eyes. "Nothing. I just was… thinking about my dad, and Nigel… I miss them. Nigel was my best friend, and my dad… I loved him." But as I sobbed, I felt a warm sensation around my body. It was only the feeling of Abigail Lincoln rapping her warm arms around me. I couldn't describe the feeling, but it felt like I was soaring on a golden plane above all of the clouds, in the purest of sunsets.

"Abby?"

"What?"

I sighed "Thanks." I couldn't help but smile. Sometimes, one hug could make a huge difference.
