"How long until Tohru gets back from that stupid visit," Kyo's yell almost brought down Shigure's house.

"I suppose Miss Honda won't be back from her grandfather's until Saturday," Yuki calmly stated.

"SATURDAY?! It's only Tuesday," Kyo started freak out until the point where his cat ears popped out of his head in rage.

"Awww, does someone miss Tohru," Shigure rang out in his usual sarcastic voice. "Kyo loves Tohru! Kyo loves Tohru!" Shigure started to chant, then Yuki joined in as Kyo turned a shade of deep red.

"SHUT UP! I'M JUST HUNGRY! IS IT CRIME TO WANT SOME REAL FOOD IN THIS HOUSE? I DON'T MISS, MISS HONDA--err--Tohru!! AGHHH!" Kyo could not win this battle, because what Yuki and Kyo were chanting was true. He really did miss Tohru, and he wasn't alone for that matter. The house was so empty (and dirty) without her. She wanted to see her grandfather because he was ill.

Kyo went outside and climed up on the roof and looked at the clear night sky. He recalled a time when Tohru and he were counting stars. He quietly mumbled, "Oh Tohru. You've been far away for far to long, I can't bear is. You're to far away, please come home."

It was getting late so Kyo climbed down and decided to watch some TV. It was around midnight so nothing was on except news. Then suddenly the door slightly creaked open.

"Kyo? Yuki? Shigure? I'm home!" It was Tohru back early from her trip. Kyo couldn't control his emotions anymore. He ran up to Tohru and hugged her in an awkward way so that he wasn't he touching her so that he wouldn't be turned into a cat.

"What was that for?" Tohru quietly whispered after a long minute of silence.

"You've been far away for far too long."

"Well, my grandfather was feeling better, so I decided to come home early."

"Tohru, I love you so much." Kyo kissed her forehead gently. He was just about to kiss her again until suddenly a bright light came from the staircase.

"We heard noises and we wanted to make sure Kyo wasn't talking to himself, again," it was Yuki and Shigure.

"Oh, Miss Honda, glad to see your back."

"Not now Yuki. Let's just leave Tohru and Kyo alone..." Shigure had a bit of a hunch of what was going on.

"Well, okay," Yuki was very hesitant. But after a few moments, they both went upstairs and back to bed.

"Oh, Tohru, I have a surprise for you." Kyo grabbed Tohru and took her up to the roof. It was not a clear sky anymore. Thousands of stars shone brightly.

"Kyo, it is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen! I truly did miss this when I was at my grandfather's."

Kyo smiled down at Tohru and then kissed her cherry red lips. Then he once whispered, " Far away for far too long…"
