Summary: Accolon's point of view from the time in the Fairy Country till death.
a/n- This is just my first reaction after reading that part…15 minutes work @ the most.
I stand, facing Arthur, his great sword Excalibur in my hand, a forgery in his own. We strike again and again, the blows ringing through my body like thunder. Dawning comprehension overtakes his features as my blood does not shed, his flowing freely.
We lock together in mortal combat, the King Stag and the young stag locking antlers against each other. His sword breaks off just below the hilt. Now he knows what the matter is, and why he has lost so much blood.
He wrenches the great sword from my hand, the scabbard as well. Flinging both far from us, he watches. The magic of the scabbard no longer working, all the wounds he inflicted upon me begin to bleed. I am covered in my own blood, and I sink to my knees…
Mother Goddess, in your face I see Morgaine, I see the Death-crone…she is coming out to capture me, Mother, and I am here. I see eternity.
I've seen Morgaine.
