"James!" Lily's tinkling laugh echoed through out the snow covered forest.

"What did I do?" James' voice sounded behind her, and Lily could feel his breath at the back of her neck. Lily spun around, grabbing the air, trying to find James. "You know, if you keep doing that, someone might come around and think you're mental."

Lily spun back around, facing east again.

"James! You're lucky with a husband like you I'm not!"

"Who are you talking to? I'm not even close to that spot!"

"Well then take off that stupid cloak so I can see you!"

"Why should I?"

"Because it's Christmas! We need to get our tree before everyone comes for the party, and the farthest we've gotten is ten yards into the forest."

"Eh, not good enough. Give me 3 good reasons!" James said defiantly.

"Because it's Christmas, and the clock is ticking."

"That's only two reasons! I need 4!"

"You said 3 one minute ago!"

"Well, I changed my mind."

"James!" Lily said exasperatedly.

"That's my name, don't wear it out."

"Take off the cloak!"

"No."

"You are acting like a little kid, James. Please! Take off that damn cloak."

"Lil?"

"What?" Lily snapped.

"Find me."

"That's what I've been trying to do the past 20 minutes!" Lily said crossly, "James? James? Bugger it, Potter! How in the world am I supposed to find you?" Lily was shouting into the air when an owl swooped down and dropped a note.

You'll find me at our new tree.

"James! UGH!"

Lily was trumping around the forest, when a memory came upon her.

"Lily?"

"Yeah?"

"Okay. How 'bout this one?"

"It's too boxy. A tree needs to be like a triangle."

"Alright, how about this?"

"James, it's perfect."

"Awesome! Shall we chop it down now, or in 5 months when its actually Christmas?"

"James! James!"

Lily ran through the forest, when she finally came upon the dream tree.

The tree was a deep, dark perfect green. Pinecones scattered through out, snow covering most of the branches. It was about 5 1/2 feet tall, and right where Lily knew he would be, James was standing with a triumphant smirk..

"James Potter!"

"I told you not to wear my name out!"
