Pocahontas was sitting at the foot of a really old and big tree. It looked like a well.. a very old willow. But notting is as it seems, the willow was looking down at the young girl at her feets. The young woman stared at her hands.
''grandmother willow, What is my path?'' asked pocahontas. 'And how am I ever going to find it.'' she sounded a bit desperate and looked at the face of the willow, grandmother Willow.
She chuckled, and smiled at the Insurance of the young woman. ''Your mother asked me the very same question my dear.'' The brown eyes of Pocahontas became big at the mention of her mother and at the same time confused. She hestitated, ofcourse she wanted to know about her mother and what grandmother willow had to say about the question, but she know very well, that know one liked it to talk about a loved one that had passed away.
Pocahontas took a deep breath. ''She did? What did you tell her?'' the old willow smiled.
''I told her to listen!'' pocahontas didn't know of her grandmother was joking. Just listen?
''All around you are spirits child, they live in the earth, the water and the forest. If you listen Pocahontas, they will guide you!'' pocahontas looked around her in the hope she would see a spirit, but not succesfull. The leafs around the willow's branches began the rustle. All around her she could hear the beautyfull sounds of the wind.
''I hear the wind!'' the enthousiasm in her voice was very clear. Slowly she stood and even the animals around her where looking up to the trees. The willow nodded satisfied. ''Yes, and what is it telling you?''
A cold breese blow trough her hair and she could feel the chills in her spine. ''I don't understand..'' Pocahontas her voice was soft, and her gaze was directed at a big tree across grandmother Willow.
Que que na-to-ra
You will understand
Grandmother Willow began to sing and a little stray of light landded in front of her. Brightly colored leafs fluttered slowly down at the melody of the wind.
Listen with your heart
You will understand
Meeko picked a leaf and examine it to see if it was no trickery. Pocahontas on the other hand was enchanted by the bright colors and the beautyfull sounds of the wind. She could hear so much voices and so many melodys. From the inside she could feel so much warmths and love.
Let it break upon you
Like a wave upon the sand
Pocahontas opened her eyes and looked at the willow. ''It's saying something is coming..strange clouds?'' the last part she says with some confusion. There are no strange clouds. She hadn't see any of that before. Maybe she didn't hear it right.
Pocahontas looked up at the sky, or the little she could see between the thick branches of the trees. She climbed around the willow up to the sky.
Listen with your heart
You will understand
On the thick bed of leafs she looked around her and in the distance she saw something weird. Meeko looked with big eyes at the strange clouds and jumped down the tree. ''What do you see up there?'' asked the willow far below the young woman.
Pocahontas was a little shocked and stared at the clouds. ''Clouds.. strange clouds.''
in pocahontas her ears she could hear the wind blow
''You will understand …''
