This didn't turn out as great as I was hoping, but it could have been worse.
Lulu's thoughts that day in episode 75 (24 of Doki), when Amu and Utau are eating in the ramen shop.
Disclaimer: I don't own Shugo Chara!
Lulu de Morcerf Yamamoto was not jealous.
She wasn't. Really.
She had no need for such emotions. She was Lulu de Morcerf.
She had a guardian character named Nana, whom she loved a lot, even if she was a little annoying. She was striving for perfection and to become great at everything. She was amazing at making jewelry, especially ones related to turning people's hearts eggs to ? eggs. She had little to no friends, two parents who loved each other, and a dream to make her mother great again. To make her mother shine.
So, really, the thought that Lulu de Morcerf was jealous of one Hoshina (Tsukiyomi) Utau for being friends with her on-and-off friend and enemy Hinamori Amu, was ridiculous.
She had all a girl like her could want, other than the perfection she was still striving for.
Besides, they were eating. That's it. Eating and talking. And laughing, by the looks of Hinamori Amu. But that's all. It's not like they were best friends, even though they sort of acted like it. Or anything close to it.
Lulu still didn't see why it mattered anyways. Not that it mattered at all. To her. It was perfectly normal to see two friends—acquaintances—in a ramen shop together. Eating and Talking. And laughing.
It's not like Lulu had her face pressed up against the glass or anything. She was just taking a peek. A quick one. Seeing what they were doing. After all, who wouldn't want to see Hoshina Utau in a ramen shop, right?
Ugh. Hoshina Utau. Lulu hated her. She thought she was so pretty and confident and smart and sassy and stubborn and…Lulu loathed her.
Who did she think she was? Just coming in there and stealing Hinamori Amu from her?
Not that it mattered.
It didn't matter what Nana said, either.
She wasn't jealous. At all.
