Edward Elric, the 15 year old FullMetal Alchemist, turning in his report to the Flame, Roy Mustang. Edward has long golden hair and golden eyes.

Roy has black hair and black eyes. He read over Edward's report at midnight.

"What is this? Reports aren't written with that mentality," Roy said watching Ed sigh. "Rewrite." Was all Roy said handing the report to Edward.

"What? Do you find this funny, colonel? Want me to spend the night here or what?" Edward complained.

"This is your job," Roy said looking at the exasperated boy. "There's no reason to behave like a spoiled child." Roy finished shutting his eyes, annoyed.

"This is my way of thinking. But with you, I never had any reason to. We used each other right? Without any obligation or feeling." Roy said face looking down.

"Alright I understand," Ed said. "I'll rewrite it again, now." He finished. The rain pouring outside the windows.

Ed took Roy's desk and rewrote the report, while Roy took the couch doing his paperwork. Silence emanating the room.

Ed eventually dozed off.

"Fullmetal." Roy said sternly. Ed jumped up.

"Ah! Yes?" Ed asked, straightening his hair from waking up.

"Why don't you go to sleep?" Roy asked. Ed looked confused.

"Why? I have to finish this." Ed claimed rubbing drool off his face.

"Is it wrong?" Roy asked.

"…" Ed had nothing to say. "Not entirely." A few hours went by, and Ed went to where Roy was sitting.

"Here colonel, I finished." Ed handed the report to Roy. "I no longer want to see these letters."

"You cried?" Roy asked.

"Wha! My eyes are red because…" Ed couldn't find an excuse. Roy pulled Ed closer. Ed's eyes widened.

"Three years have passed," Roy said staring intently into Ed's eyes. "How can you still cry when you're writing reports? Can you not stand the pain?" Roy asked.

"Let me go!" Ed shouted. "This doesn't concern you alright? Just mind your own business!" Ed jumped away from Roy's grip.

"You said it yourself! We are using each other!" Ed repeated the words Roy had said earlier. "Then you ask me why? I don't understand why?"

Roy pulled Ed into a tight loving embrace.

"Wha…Colon…." Ed said. Roy turned Ed's face towards him, and brought him into a passionate kiss. Ed blushed and started to make out with Roy.

Their lips touching, their saliva being exchanged. Roy gripped Ed's clothes tightly.

"Stop!" Ed shouted pulling away from the colonel. Ed wiped his mouth blushing bright red tears welling up in his eyes. Roy just stared at him.

Ed ran out of the room, and Roy just stood there. Roy touched his lips cursing under his breath at himself. He covered his eyes and sighed.

"What do I?" Roy asked himself.

Ed walked into his house and Al was yelling at him. "Nii-San! Your all wet! And the umbrella! Did you forget it?"

Ed hugged the armored boy. "Al…" Ed's heart was pounding in his chest.

"Nii-San?" Al asked.

"Al…I was… and he…" Ed's took a breath. "I hate him!" He shouted.

"Nii-San." Al said. He watched his brother walk outside in the snow and curl up into a ball.

Two children walked up to Ed who was now wearing a scarf and his coat.

"Are you waiting for the post man?" The children asked. Ed blinked.

"Ah? Well, yes." Ed lied. "Actually, my friend will not be able to reply to me." Ed told the two children.

"He…he cannot reach me." He finished.

"Did you send the letter to a far away place?" The older child asked. Suddenly Ed remembered.

"Yeah, a far away place…" Ed trailed off.

Under the snow that touches his skin.

That rainy day with you.

So sad :( Well I summarized this from a doujinshi so I do not own it!
