biSong: "Stellar" by Incubus/i/b

b"Meet me in Outer Space."/b

Naruto moved closer to Hinata as another firework exploded in the sky and the words escaped his lips. He pulled her hand into his as she jumped slightly. She smiled at him and took his hand and blushed profusely. Naruto smiled as well.

b"We could spend the night."/b

His soothing tone relaxed Hinata. An array of fireworks blew up as Naruto began glancing at Hinata. She noticed it and glanced back, smiling as her red face brightened. Another firework erupted over their heads, in a sphere of white, blue and green.

b"Watch the earth come up."/b

Naruto's voice dropped to a low tone. Hinata continued to blush as Naruto leaned into her ear. He whispered something softly.

b"I've grown tired of this place, won't you come with me?"/b

Naruto stood up and Hinata followed him as they walked along the Hokage faces. Naruto had something else in mind. After they had walked about thirty feet, Naruto stopped and turned to Hinata. She blushed again. His lips moved slowly.

b"We could start again."/b

Naruto leaned in, placing his lips softly on her cheek. Her vision went blank as she fell from her standing position, into a kneeling one. He thought out loud.

b"How do you do it? Make me feel like I do."/b

Naruto bent down to her as she stared into the distance, speaking softly. He was trying to apologize but she couldn't hear it. Suddenly, she snapped back to reality, and as she saw the face of Naruto in front of her, she leaned in, kissing him on the mouth. Naruto accepted the kiss as he returned it softly. Within seconds it was broken, and Hinata was blushing again, but smiling even more profusely.

b"How do you do it? It's better than I ever knew."/b

The words weren't meant to come from his mouth as his feelings became jumbled. Naruto returned the smile as he helped her to her feet. His real words came once again, repeating what he had said earlier.

b"Meet me in Outer Space."/b

Their hands stayed meshed together as they continued their walk, to a higher area. Naruto had something in mind. Hinata paused as they reached the steps to the highest place in Konoha, the tower of the far wall. She hesitated.

Naruto leaned in, whispering something else in her ear softly.

b"I will hold you close, if you're afraid of heights."/b

Hinata nodded, smiling, but with a fear in her eyes. Naruto's expression softened from a wide smile to an understanding one. He leaned in, whispering once again.

b"I need you to see this place."/b

Hinata nodded once again, gripping Naruto close as they moved up the tower. Naruto continued.

b"It might be the only way…"/b

Hinata intently listened as they continued climbing the stairs.

b"That I can show you how; it feels to be inside of you."/b

Naruto meant the words metaphorically, and prayed Hinata understood. Hinata did, but giggled at the innuendo. Her face had become the color of apples as she turned to Naruto smiling. She looked at him, then over of the Village of Konoha. The view was beautiful, perfect, magnificent. It was almost like when she kissed Naruto, although, not quite. She had never seen such a beautiful sight, and she turned to Naruto, tears in her eyes. Very few words escaped her mouth.

b"How do you do it? Make me feel like I do."/b

Naruto shook his head, not knowing at all how he did, but returned with his own question.

b"How do you do it?"/b

Hinata didn't know either, but they leaned in together, kissing on the highest tower of Konoha. Their shadows from the moon reflected over onto the village, as the future Hokage kissed the love of his life above the village.

The same thought ran through both of their heads.

b"It's better than I ever knew."/b
