With big wondering eyes Reid looked up at the empire state building. Reading about it was completely different from actually seeing it. He'd never been in New York before, because they had never had a case there. So now they were here, he'd decided to go sightseeing.
He did not plan to actually enter the building, or in fact come any closer, but he had to see it for himself. He turned around and started searching for a coffee corner. He would take the coffee and come back to see if it the experience was even better, if he was on coffee. It usually was.
Walking through the street Spencer got a little smile on his lips. New York was nice and he would make the most of it.
Tired, the team moved off the plane, grabbing their go-bags as they went. Once again they had closed a case. It left them feeling satisfied at making a difference in the world. Yet, they also felt sad, about the fact that the world needed them.
Morgan held his head up tiredly. "I have the feeling we forgot something, but I don't have the fuggiest idea what." JJ yawned. "Probably left the stove on and burnt down your apartment, nothing to worry about."
In New York, Reid wondered when Hotch would finally call him to tell him the departure time.
In Quantico Morgan slapped his forehead. "Of course," he said. "I forgot to pay the electricity bill."
