"Thanks for coming, Rouge"
Said bat nodded her head, smiling softly at Amy, "Anytime, darling."
Amy gestured in her home, motioning for Rouge to come on in. Rouge looked around the others house, again taking in the many flowers adorning her house, before her eyes settled on the usually clean and pretty pink table filled with tissues, food, and alcohol.
Rouge raised her eyebrow, her eyes glancing at Amy.
Amy didn't notice the look, or she didn't acknowledge it, "Sorry for the mess."
The bat brought up her hand to settle on the peach shoulder, "What happened, Amy?"
The pink hedgehog's normally bright green eyes were foggy and distant as they looked up to Rouge, her face uncharacteristically blank and dull.
Rouge frowned, "Amy…"
Suddenly, Amy's arms circled around the bat, and she wept quietly in her arms. Rouge only stood there slightly shocked, before giving the other a comforting squeeze back.
"I-I'm so stupid. I knew it wouldn't work out Rouge, yet I was so desperate and - and," Amy spluttered out, her voice wavering as she spoke.
Rouge sighed, nuzzling her head on Amy's, deciding it'd be best not to say anything.
The bat led the younger one back into the couch for them to get more comfy, and she let the other grasp her tightly, her arms circling around her waist and her muzzle tucked away in her shoulder.
"How much have you been drinking?"
"N-not a lot."
Rouge patted her head with her hand, "Alright. Want to watch a movie?"
Amy shook her head, sniffling, still tucked away in Rouges shoulders, "I just want to stay like this."
Rouge smiled softly, "You just want go to the bed?"
Right after Amy nodded, Rouge carried her to the bedroom. They lay there, softly snuggling together eventually falling asleep in each other's arms.
Yes, extremely short and rushed, I know.
I'm trying to practice writing right now, so I'm really sorry.
Especially since I haven't done anything in such a long time in this account uvu;
I've been trying to re-do these dumb stories I have, in the meantime I'm going to start practicing my writing. So you might see some stupid short fanfics of some of my otps or brotps w/ever.
anyway this was one of those wing-it things, so I wasn't sure what I was doing.
I've shipped these two for the longest time now, just never got around to doing anything.;;
