One or Two More Words

"So, this is the plan: Russia and China worry about Japan, France about Italy, while England and I will take care of Germany" America said with a smile, turning to the others nations that were there.

"How cool! So I'll have the chance to become friend of another nation!" Russia exclaimed, then he half-closed his eyes and put on an evil look "Well, at least before I destroy it" he added with an unnerving tone, frightening France, who tried to go far from the man with nonchalance.

The only one who got an irritate look was England.

"Can you explain to me why you always have to decide for everybody?" he asked to his brother, upset. America didn't lose his composure, and patted him on his shoulder.

"Come on, Arthur! You'll see, it'll be funny! Germany is such a good place!" England turned red.

"We're not going on holiday Alfred! We're in the middle of a war, if you didn't notice that!" he rebuked him, not damping down on the other's smile.

"Oh I know, but the war isn't started yet, so I can't see why, while we're studying the enemy, we can't take advantage to wander!"

"Alfred, do you really want to be defeated before the war starts?" England hissed in his teeth. America made a dazzling smile.

"I can't be defeated. I'm an hero!" he stated, causing groans from his allies.

"Come on Arthur, let's go at Germany's home!" America told his brother, arrived in front of Ludwig's house.

"Are you crazy? We go like that, defenceless, at enemy's home? Let's reflect for a moment America, think about consequences, I don't believe that..." he protested, but the other had already rang the bell. When Germany came and opened, he stayed in silence for several moments, astonished.

"But... but… what are you doing here?" he asked at the end. England put a hand on his face, while America showed off one of his best smiles.

"Guten morgen Detuschland!" he exclaimed with an horrible German accent. "You know, the war is yet to come, and we're here to study the territory" Arthur elbowed him, but he seemed not to notice it.

"Let me understand... we're enemy, and you come at my home to inform me that you're analyzing my territory?" his tone was confused, more than sarcastic. America nodded, still with satisfied expression.

It was evening. England and America were walking down the street, toward home. Their faces were covered in bruises, and they both limped.

"Well, I don't understand… why did Germany upset?" Alfred asked. England gritted his teeth.

"America... God gave you two ears to listen double and one mouth to talk the half... but it seems He forgot to give you the instruction manual" he hissed.

America stayed intent for a while, then he smiled again and turned back to his brother.

"Tomorrow we're going to Japan?" Arthur stopped and stared at him. Then he sighed.

"Yes Alfred. We're going to Japan" he resigned. He was never supposed to learn...
