Prologue

"Daddy?" Angela Jeremiah asked as she eyed the passing trees and houses.

"Yeah, Ang?" Joey Jeremiah asked, sparing a glance at his eleven year old daughter.

"This new town...will I like it?" She asked of him, dark brown eyes wide and her ringlet curls piled in a ponytail at the back of her head. It was times like this that she looked so much like her mother.

"Well you should. I think you will make friends rather easy. You're a friendly little girl that they'd be nuts not to like you." He said to her with a reassuring smile.

Angela smiled at her dad's words and turned back to the window, continuing to stare out. Finally, they stopped infront of a house. It was small and quaint. Perfect for two or three people---depending on when Craig visited. It had a great expanse of yard with an oak tree that had a tire swing hooked to it. Next door, a little boy with short, dark hair was playing with a little girl with long brown locks. They both appeared to be nine or ten years old.

She stared at them as she got out of the car and took a box that was filled with books from her father. She continued to look at them as she walked into the house and sat the box down. So there were kids here. That was good atleast. In the last place she and her father lived, there hadn't been any children at all. Only old couples or just married couples. "Dad?" She asked when her father walked in the door.

Joey looked at her as he set a box down on the floor.

"Can I please go and introduce myself to those kids next door?" Angela asked sweetly.

He looked around as if pondering the idea. Then he sighed. "Sure Ang. I suppose you can take your stuff up to your room and organize everything later today or tomorrow morning.

She grinned and wrapped her arms around his waist. "Thanks, daddy!" She said happily as she hurried out the door. She ran smack dab into the boy she had seen and they both fell to the ground. "Oof!" She groaned.

"Oww!" The boy cried out as he fell right next to her. He shook his head like a wet dog and then turned his head to look at Angela. "I'm sorry about that." He apologized sweetly. "I should've been more careful. I just wanted to meet you 'cuz Molly and I saw that you and your dad had just moved in." He stood up and brushed off his clothing before holding out a hand for Angela to take.

Angela took his hand gratefully and let him help her up. She brushed of her tee-shirt and jeaned skirt and then held out her hand again. "I'm Angela Jeremiah." She said matter-of-factly. "Is Molly your sister?"

Morgan shook his head. "No. Molly's my cousin. Her older sister, Kristina is my sister though. I'm Morgan Corinthos."

She furrowed her brows in confusion and tilted her head to the side. "But...how can her sister be your sister and she not be your sister too?" She asked curiously.

"Her mom and my dad are Kristina's parents and my uncle is Molly's father." He said to her, nodding knowingly.

"Oh." Angela answered carefully.

"Wanna come play with me and Molly?" Morgan asked hopefully.

She grinned and nodded her head enthusiastically, grabbing his hand in her's as they ran back to his house.

Next Chapter: Angie meets Molly and Morgan, Molly, and Angie play. Joey goes next door to pick up Angela and meets Molly's mother, Alexis.
