Lyra relaxed into her position on the old brown couch of her house, a soft sigh escaping her lips. Her legs crossed over one another, arms folded across her chest. It was an oddly strict looking pose, perhaps even unnerving, at least given the situation. But the brunette found it to be the most comfortable, so as such she sat.

Currently the female trainer was supposed to be watching some sort of movie with Silver, who lived with her, but she honestly wasn't really paying attention. It seemed to be some sort of crappy romantic comedy, certainly not a genre she favored, but Silver seemed into it. That, or he had zoned out. Both seemed to be valid options.

"Fuck." She heard the red haired male mutter under his breath, starring intently at the screen with his namesake eyes and popping a piece of chocolate into his mouth (he had some sort of love for the sweet, odd considering his character). Lyra turned to see what he was talking about, only to witness someone being torn open by a Nidoking. Squeamish, Lyra snapped her head away. Thankfully her own purple Pokemon wasn't here.

Whether it was because he sensed her discomfort or because he was in some sort of spontaneous mood today, Silver set his gaze upon her and asked in a dull voice "you wanna kiss?"

Lyra went red, utterly flabbergasted at his proposal. Had she heard that right? Silver was asking her to kiss?! She opened her mouth to respond, but found herself at a loss for words. The brunette has always liked him, in a more then friends kind of way, but she had never expected him to be the one to ask! The fact that they even had a positive relationship was a huge step forwards for the red haired rival. Lyra swallowed, mind racing.

'Well, if he wants to, I suppose there'd be no reason to object…" She thought. Deciding this was the best way to go, she turned her head to him, still blushing, squeezed her eyes shut, and hoped for the best.

"Yes!" She said shakily, voice wavering. She could feel Silver lean forwards on the couch and…

Something cool and crinkly slipped into her palm. Eyes snapping open, Lyra looked down to see what it was, Silver going back to watching whatever movie it was.

A triangle chocolate, curled at the tip and wrapped in a shiny gold foil sat in her hand, glowing faintly from the light of the television. Lyra could feel the gears in her head turning as she tried to comprehend what had just happened. Then, all at once, it hit her.

Never in her life had the urge to flip a table been so overwhelming.
